We are renting out our new Saltdalshytte. Here is everything you can imagine when you are at the cabin, such as peace and quiet and a short way out into nature. The cabin is located about 200 meters from the lake and has panoramic views right out of Vestfjorden. The cabin is close to mountains and hiking area. There are great conditions for fishing and paddling, as well as swimming. There is only a short distance to Lofoten. A drive to Svolvær takes about 1.5 hours and it is an hour to Vesterålen. You are also only a ferry ride away from Hamarøy which also has a lot of great nature and other experiences.

Cottage by the lake

Good starting point for mountain hikes or hikes on the coastal trail located right below the cabin. Go on a discovery trip in bunkers from the Second World War at the abandoned Nes fort, or check out rock carvings within walking distance of the cabin. Nice small beaches, and the possibility of swimming, snorkeling and paddling (if you have your own kayak with you). Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. This year it is perhaps particularly attractive to be able to come to Bjørklund Farm if Norway holidays.

You'll love my place because of the central location in the Vesterålen region, Lofoten and Harstad, the kitchen, the outdoor area, the neighborhood, the light, the comfortable bed. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and furry friends (pets). It is also a quiet and peaceful area, without the big traffic noise as this is not by the main road. Quiet neighborhood.

Evenes Airp. Northern lights on the way to Lofoten

New cottage from 2014 just 10 km from Evenes Airport. The cabin is located halfway (260 km each way) between Tromsø and Å on the mainland of Lofoten. The cottage has a simple and good standard with most amenities one expects to find in a regular home. The cottage has lovely views towards Tjeldsundet in the north and has midnight sun from late May to mid July. In the dark part of the year there are good conditions for admiring the Northern Lights.
