We renovated an old private house on the banks of the Shimanto River in Shimanto-cho, Kochi Prefecture, so that you can stay there. ✨ We used cypress wood from Shimanto-cho for the flooring, and I think you can enjoy the scent of cypress. The space was designed by Muji Planning Co., Ltd., and we have a full range of Muji products such as furniture, appliances, interior design, and amenities. Couples, couples, girls' trips, families with children, etc. can stay slowly regardless of age, and you can see the starry sky at night. Please enjoy the unbranded space. I want to renovate a 117-year-old traditional house on the banks of the Shimanto River.

　We have renovated a quiet old house on the banks of the Shimanto River.The surrounding area is made up of mountains, rivers and fields.We want you to enjoy playing in the river every day in summer and playing in the mountains in winter, and to relax and unwind in nature, so we make it possible to stay for a long time.I would especially like families with small children to enjoy a stay where they can use the entire property and feel like they are visiting relatives at home.You can have the entire building to yourselves, and we can provide up to 8 sets of futons.We'd love to have you booked! ※ We will only approve bookings from guests who agree to the house rules (especially the other rules) listed in the notes.As we operate in the countryside of Shimanto, we value nature, the local community (our neighbours) and children, and hope that you can connect with them and enjoy your time here.Please carefully review the house rules before considering.I will provide details about the house and information about nearby facilities, etc., via message.

A house in the rice fields with a wood-fired sauna!

The entire house, surrounded by rice fields, is for rent. You can enjoy the wood-burning sauna at any time you like in a quiet space. There are 6 rooms, so you can enjoy watching movies on a large screen, as well as for training and teleworking.There is a fixed price for up to 6 people, regardless of the number of guests. The building itself is 40 years old, but it was renovated in April 2026.The bath, toilet, bedrooms, etc. are new.The kitchen is a little old. I created this quiet sauna space as an extension for sauna lovers.The sauna is wood-fired and 70-80°C, but the heat is gentle and penetrates deep into the body. We strive to ensure that you can have a comfortable stay with your loved ones, family, and friends, without worrying about others. Self check-in means the host's involvement is kept to a minimum, but please call if you need anything. Because it's in the countryside, there are a lot of insects in the summer.We try not to enter the house, but please forgive us. Thank you in advance.

The dormitory room on the second floor of the bar is a semi-private room separated by curtains, and you can stay alone or in a group. It was just built in 2022, and the wall material used to partition the room is cypress, so you can sleep comfortably with the fresh scent of wood. You can access the central shopping district in about 15 minutes on foot, so you can shop at a supermarket or convenience store and eat in your room, or you can eat at a restaurant or bar. In the town, which is nicknamed "Nomu Muranomura (Drinking Village)", the population is small, but the bars are crowded with local customers. At entohouse, we will introduce you to our recommended restaurants, so please feel free to ask us. There is no kitchen in the dormitory room. Please let us know if you would like to use a refrigerator, etc.! If you wish to use the bar, please book in advance and inquire as there are regular holidays!

We are renovating a traditional house that is about 70 years old, featuring an open ceiling with exposed beams. Walls and lighting made with traditional handmade Japanese paper, "Senkagami paper", reused fixtures and antique furniture create a warm, grandmotherly home. You can access the central shopping district in about 15 minutes on foot, so you can buy groceries at the supermarket and cook in your room, or dine at a restaurant or tavern. In the town, which has the nickname "Nomumura no Nomura (Drinking Village Nomura)", despite its small population, the bars are bustling with local customers.
