This is a renovated 130-year-old traditional house that welcomes guests with pets (we do not have pets).We have one room with a double bed, one room with a single bed, one room with a single bed, and an extra single bed available. If you are using only the 12 tatami-mat wooden floor room, bringing your own bedding (sleeping bag, etc.), and not using the bed, or if you are booking for 2 people or fewer, or if you are a returning guest, we can offer a special discount. You can enjoy rural life in Japan in every season: hiking in spring, swimming in rivers, watching fireflies, and harvesting vegetables in summer, watching the Hanamatsuri Festival, a designated Important Intangible Cultural Property, in autumn, and watching the Hanamatsuri Festival, making miso, and pounding mochi rice cakes in winter.We can offer a variety of activities, including wood splitting, BBQ, pottery, handmade foundation and soap making, pottery, and Japanese drumming. The owner of this old Japanese house, "Tsukikoso", speaks English and French, so guests who don't speak Japanese can enjoy the town's very interesting places, rich nature and encounters with interesting people with an interpreter.It will be a very unique and healthy stay that you cannot experience in famous tourist destinations in Japan.

Located in Tokoicho, Kitashitara District, Oku-Mikawa, Aichi Prefecture, this is an omusubi shop that uses home-grown rice on the first floor.It is a small inn with a twin room and a room for 4 people (2 bunk beds) on the second floor. Located in Hongo, the centre of Toei-cho, it is a 30-second walk to the bus stop. The space, a liquor store that had been vacant for about 30 years, has been self-renovated to incorporate the opinions of various people involved, resulting in an interior with a warm wooden feel. There are also hot springs, a supermarket and a convenience store within about 5 minutes by car or bus.
