Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kitakyushu

Traveling is really exciting and fun, but sometimes you're tired, right? So it's really important to me how comfortable and cozy it is when I come back to the house after a long day of walking around. The accommodation I stayed in this time was the best in that regard! It was in a quiet residential area, so I felt comfortable even before I arrived. In addition, the tatami room you see as soon as you enter and the fluffy bed on the second floor were the best! There was also an air conditioner, so I was able to sleep coolly. There were 3 of us, but the second floor room was separated, so it was nice that we weren't disturbed by each other when sleeping. I slept really refreshed for two days in a fluffy bed. In the morning, I woke up a little earlier than my friends who went with me and went out for a walk to buy coffee. Walking in a quiet neighborhood in the morning made me feel like I was on a trip. Tenjin Minami Station was close, so it was easy to buy coffee and bread, and there were many restaurants nearby, so it was fun to see. Especially since I went on a trip with old friends, I think it will be a more memorable accommodation.

I was very impressed by the polite response. I stayed with 5 people, and there were 4 beds, but there was another single bed that jumped out, and there were 5 of them, so there was no problem at all. Thank you very much.

Great home to stay for a family of 3-4! The bed was comfortable and there was a big closet to put our luggage. The check in and check out processes were very smooth and straight forward! The host was very welcoming and the space was homey! The location was very convenient to shopping, eating, and the Hells of Beppu!

I booked it with confidence because the Korean owner said it was operated. I rested so comfortably for 3 nights. He asked me how I was doing every morning and asked if there were any inconveniences. I was touched by the thoughtful consideration. They also prepared an electric mat, so I stayed warmly. I also prepared a separate bath basket, so I was able to go to Haemunsa Hot Springs every evening within a 3-minute walk! It was also really convenient to be able to park right in front of the accommodation!! You kept it really clean. Your mother loved it! It was right in front of Baebu Tower, so the night view was also really nice. I'll visit again next time.! I've been to Japan many times, but when I had a problem, they answered me right away, so I traveled without worry. I've never traveled so comfortably before. It's really the best accommodation ^ ^♡

This Airbnb is one of the best I've stayed at 💖 It's located fairly close to the airport, and also to Tenjin shopping area. There are several buses + subway lines that can get there without having to transfer. Within 10min walking there are many restaurants nearby as well. It was easy to find and get inside with the keypad lock. Masaru-san sent all the info I needed before I arrived so I could get in quickly. There is equipment for cooking, utensils and cutlery, the bathroom was very clean, everything was super organized. There were many bicycles downstairs I could use, Masaru-san even provided an umbrella and laundry detergent which I find many Airbnbs don't have (the umbrella was super helpful as it was the rainy season so there was rain for several days). There was even a booklet on the table listing sightseeing places and food in Fukuoka, very thoughtful. Masaru-san is very responsive to messages and always answered quickly. Wonderful stay, definitely recommend 👍✨✨

5 of us stayed in June.The house was beautiful, clean and very comfortable.I felt that it was important that the three bedrooms were separate and that we could sleep well without interfering with each other.The next day, at another inn, the bedroom was close and there was no partition, so it was noisy and the lights were dazzling, so it was difficult. The open-air bath wasn't that big, but my grandson was so happy that he went in many times. The location was quiet, but it was nice to be able to walk to the main street.This can be said for the whole of Yufuin, but the roads are very narrow, so it was a little difficult to get out of the parking lot with a large car. The host was also very polite and kind, and I had no problems at all, and it was comfortable.It was a home that made me want to come back.

It is a traditional old Japanese house, so there is a lot of inconvenience compared to modern hotels, but it is very spacious and there are no houses around, so I think you can relax without worrying about the surroundings.The host is one of the best in the past, so I think it will be a fulfilling trip if you communicate a lot.

This is the second time staying and still satisfied, with free ice cream and coffee for food and drink, will still choose again next time you come to Fukuoka.

A very homely Japanese family house with tatami floors. It felt like we were staying at a friend's place (who happens to have kids lol). The neighbor is very quiet and I'm sure the host family is very friendly and helpful, but we only stayed one night and left very early in the morning.

What a find this was! Fusako was an excellent host. Communication was easy (Fusako is fluent in English). We hired a car from Hakata and drove here easily using the address in the car sat nav. The accommodation was very comfortable in an old farm building. We booked the meal option which was an excellent decision! Seeing a previous review, we asked if it was possible to have the vegetarian meal plan - no problem. The food was absolutely delicious and used local produce e.g shitake mushrooms. It was a highlight of our trip. We did some hiking close by - plenty of walking within a few minutes. We will be back! Fusako even helped me order some flowers online to deliver to my Japanese friend we had just visited. Thank you Fusako-san!

Such a kind and thoughtful host! Shared local recommendations and help. Very peaceful and quiet. Rural - need to get any food or items in town before driving up. I visited Mt Futago and the beach before driving to Beppu about an hour away. Wouldn’t recommend for tall people as the bedroom upstairs has a low ceiling.

It was a conscientious price.It is an old-fashioned house, but I was able to relax with a beautiful interior and clean bedding. Thank you for being very kind to the management.

The place is easy to find and very close to the city.

Kitchen utensils are fully equipped, easy to cook; All room space is large enough to be comfortable; The room has a floor-to-ceiling glass to watch the outside of the window, and the room is thin; the lock into the house is not very convenient, such as directly providing a lock box location for better use; the entire house is close to the sea, it is sunny, but the night of the stay is hit by heavy wind and rain, the noise may be woken.

Lilian's place is well placed within Fukuoka. I could disappear to a coffee shop within a 10-15 minute walk to Ohori Park. Or enjoy Daimyo, as it's only 40 minutes away on foot or well connected through the metro or bus service. This is one of the few times that the metro really is a "two minute" walk from the apartment. There is a konbini and grocery store close by. Regarding the apartment, realize you are stepping back into the 1970's. There's a desk, a small kitchenette, fridge, TV (with cable) and excellent wifi. And the bed is super comfortable. But the room does have a musty smell. And the bathroom lacks a washlet and a large tub. If you're a small person, it's just fine. If you're a bigger person, this may not be the place for you. I managed just fine and would even consider again in the future. Lilian is a great host and is very responsive. Just know what you're walking into - this is very much an efficiency apartment. But you can't beat the location for the value provided.

The accommodation was perfectly as described and I was personally not bothered by the noise of the trains! Great location (close to the train station) it was very useful to me to visit other cities in Kyushu! In 6 nights I only saw one insect, the Kyushu area is very green and lush so it's normal that there is one! The host was very responsive and pleasant! Thanks 🌸
