Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kinugawa River

A review as a solo female (Asian) American visitor: Toki-san and her family were amazing hosts! Everyone is very kind and wants you to have the best stay possible. I felt incredibly safe throughout the entire duration of my stay. Toki-san provided laundry services and went above and beyond, helping me dry my shoes after they got wet from the rain. She is extremely kind and professional host. This accommodation is a bit far from Tokyo, a total travel of 1-2 hours, but I found the commute to be tolerable if you have the time. Still, the location has its own benefits away from the city with more low key attractions and a very peaceful neighborhood. There are also convenience stores, restaurants, and a supermarket within a 10-15 minute walk radius which I enjoyed stopping by for snacks. Overall, if you’re looking for a unique accomodation away from Tokyo, this is your place to go. Toki-san and her family made a great difference to my trip in the most splendid way. ゴールデンウィーク中で渋滞は覚悟していたものの予想を上回る混雑で予定がずいぶん変わってしまいましたが、それでも嫌な顔一つせず、温かく迎えてくださいました。 同じ国際結婚という境遇でいろいろなお話が聞けてとても興味深く、刺激を受けました。 大変居心地よく過ごさせて頂きありがとうございました😊✨

There are 6 of us. A split floor apartment; 2 bedrms on 5th and a huge bedrm with sofa and tv upstairs. The host lives on 3rd n 4th flr. She is super friendly and available anytime of the day. Senso-ji temple and Asakusa just 15 minutes walk away. What we love is the supermarket 3 doors away and opens 24 hours. You will never go hungry with all the bentos. 😋

조용하고 한적한 곳에 자리잡고 있어 분위기가 좋았습니다. 근처에 작은 온천도 있고, 차로 5분 정도 거리에 기차역이 있어 쇼핑하기도 좋았습니다. 주인이 매우 친절해서 편하게 묵을 수 있었습니다. 바베큐를 하면서 가족들과 좋은 시간을 가졌습니다. 집이 넓고 방도 많아 여유로웠습니다. 다음에 다시 가고 싶습니다.

Absolutely Excellent Experience! I recently stayed at Yootel2 and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable — I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made my stay extra relaxing. The location is perfect, close to everything I needed, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. I also loved the amenities offered; everything was well-maintained and easily accessible. Overall, Yootel2 exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, hassle-free stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Mein Bruder und ich waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Airbnb zu Besuch. Es war alles perfekt. Durch den Besitzer haben wir uns sofort durch seine aufmerksame Art heimich gefühlt Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und kann man nur empfehlen, perfekt, um einen Einblick in die japanische Küche zu bekommen. Das Badezimmer war makellos und ich persönlich liebe den Duschraum. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr angenehm. Die Lage vom Onigiri Haus ist sensationell. Diesmal waren die Kirschblüten sehr schön anzuschauen. Vielen lieben Dank Yagi <3 Alles im einem würde ich den Onigiri Haus eine 10/10 geben.

Niiyama's place is great and the people is always to happy to assist on any concern. Thumbs up to Muneho and his co driver who even if they have a hard time speaking in English they were able to communicate well. Also to Rose and Malou who are both Filipinas. They were all so kind and helpful. We would love to stay in your place in our next visit to Tokyo. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Yoshimi san is a friendly and excellent hostess. She replied quickly and answers all my requests. I stayed at her place with my friends, total in 6. She welcomed us with big smile even we arrived late. She kindly allowed us to use the kitchen and arranged the table with her beautiful ceramic plates and flowers. Her place is nestled in woods and very peaceful and quiet. It’s like an oasis in Kasama. I highly recommend her place!

很好的住体验，日本的房间虽然小但住着都很舒服。床也很舒服。距离综合超市步行只有3分钟。非常方便。去迪士尼有公交车。

For our first stay in Japan it was a great experience! The place is just 2-3min from the next trainstation, which is very good, if you want to shop a lot or want to get somewhere unplanned. The Room was very clean and fits the pictures. Don't bring to much luggage or else You can't move in there. The bed fills the room, so you can't store luggage under it. It suits a couple best, but if you have no problem cuddling with your friend, take this one! Price and performance is great.

The Location is good and near to DisneyLand/DisneySea almost around 30 mins by bus. Only a thing to popup, the unit is too small. More than 2 people can’t fit it here. Apart from that everthing is great with this.

The room has huge windows to the bathroom that even they had a cover it makes me feel uncomfy. The train passes too closed that can be annoying for some people. However, the bedroom has clean and so comfortable. It has a fridge and microwave at the lobby

We had a great stay here, however our wifi was not working for the first few days of our stay, but this was sorted by the host. Shinjuku is a fantastic area and you must stay there!

Very friendly and communicative host. The location was what we want , very close to Disney Tokyo, convenient neighborhood with supermarket, pharmacy & 7 eleven nearby. Lots of paying parking lots not far from the apartment. Some might feel the bathroom is small but the room was clean & tidy. We’ll come back again !

J’ai passé un super séjour chez Asama. Le logement était parfait. Asama est très gentille et amicale, j’ai pu prendre le petit déjeuner en sa compagnie. Elle n’hésitera pas à vous aider en cas de besoins. Le logement est à une vingtaine de minute de la station de métro. Vous pouvez y aller à pied, sinon des vélos sont disponibles pour se déplacer. Merci beaucoup pour l’accueil !

Machiko’s place is always amazing! She is great with communication and so kind! Rooms are compact but so comfortable, with everything you could need! With easy access to public transportation and a plethora of restaurants, it’s become my go to for TDR trips! Thank you, Machiko!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the unit, which was perfect for our family. The place was clean, safe, and well-equipped, with a fantastic washer/dryer and a delightful daily breakfast as a bonus. Its proximity to train stations made it incredibly convenient, and the address was easy for Uber and shuttle drivers to locate. We’d love to stay again on our next trip to Tokyo. Motoko was very hospitable, and used some English with us since we couldn't speak much Japanese. She also made us breakfast-to-order each day which was *amazing*. The overall environment felt warm and welcoming, and me and my two co-guests were very comfortable. You should know that this is someone's home with a shared kitchen/living room. You and your fellow guests have a more private living space which includes a washing area, bedrooms and other necessities. (and the host has her own space upstairs as well, so you still have a fair amount of privacy regardless). As long as you're ok with that, this will be a great stay!

Motoko is sweet and kind! The room was perfect and breakfast was amazing. Location was perfect because it was close to a train station and lots of activities!.

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed with Rika and Greg. We came back because we knew it would be a wonderful weekend. Location is very close to Ishiuchi ski resort and a short drive from Echigo Yazawa station. There's a really nice onsen just down the street from the house. Rika/Greg have great recommendations for delicious restaurants nearby. The house fits two large groups comfortably with a big common area, nice kitchen, drying room, and a bathroom facility that works well for large groups. To me, that's all I can hope for in an Airbnb. What makes this place the best in Japan is Greg and Rika. They make you feel like family. Always good recommendations, always good stories, and always happy to help. Really looking forward to continuing our annual Ishiuchi tradition and see Rika and Greg next year.

今回2人で2泊させていただきました。 事前に拝見していたマップの通りに到着することが出来ましたし、道中にコンビニもあるので、何不自由なく快適に過ごせました。 2日連続で頂いた朝食も、もとこさんのご配慮があたたかく、味やメニューを変えて下さっていたりと美味しく幸せな時間でした。 本当にありがとうございました！

とてもいい時間を過ごすことができました！ チェックイン時間を調整頂いたりなど柔軟な対応をしていただきとても親切な方でした。 施設もとてもキレイで共有スペースも日本文化を楽しめる雰囲気でとても良かったです。 また是非利用したいと思います。
