Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kingsburgh

The Forest house within a super secure estate in Salt Rock is an oasis of tranquility. We stayed 9 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the large spacious home on the edge of the forest. We had so many spaces to enjoy, our favourite being the long verandah indoor/ outdoor space. We felt sheltered and so close to nature. The house had everything we wanted including a fully fitted kitchen with amazing oven and cooker. We popped over the road to the new salt rock centre where we bought groceries and cooked most meals at the house, including a BBQ/ Braai. We were very well taken care of by the house helper who came to clean every other day. It was great to have someone who knows the house well to answer any questions. One of my favourite features of the home are the downstairs rooms which all have fully retractable glass doors to open the house to the outside. Stunning!

3rd time visiting like always 5 star worth every cent, pictures dnt say much its more then that . Thanks to the host very friendly and always making sure that everthing is up to speed . will definitely be visiting again......

Paul and Lee were quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with, also gave great recommendations to nearby restaurants. The house is so cozy and outdoors beautiful and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend and amazing value for money. Will be back.

Andreas place did not disappoint from the super easy check-in to Andreas warm hospitality. Andreas place has everything you need, it’s spacious, free of clutter and clean…plus kid friendly which is a bonus o and has the best water pressure! If you are in the area no need to look at any other place. Thank you Andrea!

I really enjoyed my stay. Oscar is a perfect host. He even invented me to braai he had with his friend and his son. We had greaf conversation over meal. The place is neat, clean and private.

It was a perfect place for the kids who played endless games of soccer on the grass. Plenty of space in the house for all of us to relax. We absolutely loved staying here. Very close to a number of great restaurants and sporting facilities.

The Watering Hole is a beautiful and idyllic property in a magnificent location. The hosts are friendly, accommodating and left personal messages and treats for us to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will book there again if needed.

We had a lovely stay over the festive season. Great location and all necessary amenities. The jacuzzi and outside area were a massive plus and lovely to be able to walk into the village and to the beach.

The location is great. Secluded, yet well-positioned and connected to the city. Both Joslyn and Shaun are great hosts and together with their pets make this concrete oasis truly feel like home. Amenities and availability of kitchen equipment covered every necessity I had for my 2-month stay. I would definitely return to this gem in the middle of the big city.

We were extremely happy with the location of the apartment. A lot of safe and kid friendly tidal pools and beaches. Many great restaurants and fun places to visit. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed and more. Great value for money.

Great stay at Luke's apartment - really easy access across the road to the public beach for tidal pools and swimming. We didn't use the swimming pool but that seemed in good condition too. Large main bedroom with ample storage (and a fan we were very grateful for!), the second bedroom was also suitable for our needs (two adults) and had cupboard storage too. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery, we did not find any basics like oil and salt/pepper which meant getting our own - though this wasn't a problem. We made use of the aircon in the living room, really great extra to have on humid days. We loved the outdoor area too, semi-private with people walking past every now and again for the pool or beach access. Overall would definitely stay again - thanks for the hospitality :)

We had a truly wonderful family holiday at the baristi. Great hosts, incredible garden and very decent accommodation. Pennington is a great place for family vacation if you looking for beach holiday. It has a blue flag beach which is a 10 minute walk away and has a maximum of 30 umbrellas during peak time on the beach each day. If you are a birder, you will not believe what you see in the Baristis garden never mind Umdoni park which is also 10 minute walk away.

Had a great stay... Needed the place for comrades weekend at a pretty late stage and this was an amazing place. There is a gravel road to the farm, but it's well maintained. Would highly recommend if you're a big group.
