Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. Ota's bamboo shoots are famous for being delicious with few thorns, and they are best eaten from late March to late April.
