An atmospheric granary made of old boards in the middle of the forest in Nurmijärvi near the spring-bottomed Sääksjärvi of Kirkasvetinen, on the shore of the pond. Swimming beach about 200 meters away. The cabin has 1 room of 20 m2, with a living room, kitchenette and sleeping loft. Possibility of beach sauna for a separate fee. Great outdoor opportunities, as nature trails are nearby. Outdoor shower with a hose and lake water This place is not suitable for people with disabilities! Also not suitable for small children, risk of falling from the terrace

Unique and cozy cottage by the lake

Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large slope plot on the shores of the pristine Lake Storträsk. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Linnunrata Glamping

Stay in a beautiful valley surrounded by oat fields and horse pastures. Still, it's only about 20 minutes to the airport! Here, you can admire deer by the evening fire and wake up in the morning to the sound of birdsong or the clucking of chickens. Three sheep will also move next to the tent for the summer, and we also have chickens that will keep you company during your visit. Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

Just a 35-minute drive from Helsinki and airport, in the forrest of our House Kekkapaa ; a perfect romantic weekend getaway if you want to enjoy a private wood-fired sauna( only in your use ) , the peaceful Espoo countryside, and the surrounding nature. We are within walking distance of Lake Myllyjärvi and Backby Manor with its spa and restaurant services. On our farm, you’ll also find dogs, horses, a cat, and chickens. The cabin was originally designed by an architect family for themselves.

Veteran’s House sits on a lakeside plot in Röykkä, overlooking Lake Sääksjärvi, known as one of the cleanest in Finland. Originally used as a retreat for Finnish war veterans, the property still carries traces of its past, including a commemorative plaque in the living room. The patio features a BBQ, jacuzzi, and outdoor furniture, with a wood-burning sauna cabin. Surrounded by forest paths and swimming spots, the house is ideal for a relaxing stay in nature with modern comforts.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.
