House holiday rentals in Kigali

All Semanywa's listed amenities were exactly as shown in the pictures. The pool is perfect for an evening swim and the place is just so peaceful and private. The house manager was extremely helpful and even though there was a communication barrier, she and Semanywa made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kigali and need both serenity and reasonable proximity from Kigali Center.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this luxury villa in Kigali with kids. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality, elegant design, and stunning views. The villa was immaculately clean, spacious, and perfectly suited for a family stay — with thoughtful amenities that made our children feel right at home. The staff (especially Eli) were attentive without being intrusive, and every detail was handled with care. A peaceful, safe, and luxurious retreat that exceeded our expectations. This place is exquisite! Well taken care of and clean and in a nice neighborhood! The host was so nice, friendly, responsive and kind The stuff there is also helpful and friendly. My friends and I had a blast there. Everything there is top notch. Surely, Give Daine your money!! Lol!

THE LOCATION IS NOT LISTED CORRECTLY! it is 15 minute drive to the east (!) of the airport otherwise: the place was great overall, explicitly because the staff is so helpful! they got us a car for rent, they did our laundry, they brought everything we wanted right to our door. place is very clean, nothing to complain.

This was our first trip to Africa, so there was a lot to get acquainted with and having this space as our retreat was wonderful. Despite the language barrier, we seemed to communicate pretty well and our house helper was so kind and kept the place in sparkling order. What initially attracted us to the rental was the pool, and it was EXQUISITE - so refreshing during this dry season. The lifeguard came regularly and kept the water very clean. We were grateful for the screened windows, the fans and the optional mosquito netting over the beds. They even did a load of laundry for us during our stay and were proactive in meeting up with us to deliver it when we were back from a side trip to the rain forest. There were a good few options for enjoying a morning coffee on the patio and we always had enough space for 3 adults to have some private space behind a locked gate around the property. We always felt safe and would stay here again.

The villa was excellent! The host and his team were extremely supportive. The grounds were well maintained and (oh) its got a very good baby cot. Finally the view. The view...especially at night....is amazing.I will strongly recommend this hub.

Lysette’s place is fantastic, extremely clean, and she is a good host, very communicative. Charles (the house help) is so friendly and helping, I will definitely come back.

I've requested my extension and was placed in a very beautiful 2 bedroom with whole big family room & dining upstairs comes with full equipped kitchen. Leonara always responsive on anything we asked, also the whole entire apartment it's spotless very clean. I will definitely recommend everyone to book their vacation visiting Kigali to Lecea Akagera Luxury apartment.

Stephy and Ms Suzanne were an absolute GODSEND for me. They are both extremely hospitable and went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and at home. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. They are excellent hosts!

I spent 13 wonderful days at Eline’s house. I had already seen in previous reviews that she is a great host. I absolutely agree with that! Eline’s is really an amazing host. She is so friendly, responsive, always ready to assist you. I also very much appreciated her flexibility for the check in. I had a 6AM flight and it was no problem at all to check in that early! Her place is spotless, comfortable and peaceful. Everything looks exactly like the pictures. It’s a big house, fully equipped with everything you need. I really enjoyed the cute balcony and garden area at the front of the house. The house is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Clement the housekeeper is very friendly, quiet, you will barely notice him being there. Always ready to help out whenever you need something. I highly recommend Eline’s house. I’m certain you will feel instantly at home like I did!

We had an amazing stay at Asar’s beautiful home in Kigali! From booking to check-out, the service was exceptional. The home was spotless, peaceful, and well-organized you can tell a lot of care goes into creating a welcoming space. Asar and his team were in touch before we landed, making sure everything was set. Alice even went to inspect the home before our arrival, which we really appreciated. We were also provided with a wonderful driver, Bosco, who picked us up from the airport and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. He was kind, reliable, and very attentive. This was one of the smoothest and most enjoyable stays we’ve had. Asar clearly goes above and beyond, and it shows. I travel often for personal and business reasons, and I’ll definitely be booking with him again. I’d happily recommend him to friends, family, and colleagues. If you’re heading to Kigali, look no further Asar is a fantastic host, and you’ll feel right at home.

This place felt like a second home. Extremely beautiful and clean. Great views. Peaceful atmosphere. Has everything you need. Not far from the airport, stadium and variety of restaurants and things to do. The host especially Adolphe went above and beyond for us . Was available 24/7 , helped us with translation and recommendations. Security man was helpful too. The place is safe. As good as the pictures are, the place is even better in person. I did a last minute booking and they were very accommodating. You can tell the place is well looked after. I will definitely be coming back to stay at this place again.

Our stay was great!

Our 4-day stay at this property was absolutely exceptional. From the start, Israel was prompt, professional, and welcoming, he even offered to organize for an airport pickup, which was a thoughtful touch. He greeted us personally on arrival and made sure we felt at home right away. The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. It features a large living and dining area with comfortable seating, a fully equipped kitchen, and seven bedrooms all master ensuite. The secure, quiet compound offered peace of mind and a great environment to relax. Israel and his brother David were outstanding hosts. They checked in regularly to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made this more than just a place to stay, it felt like a home away from home. This was by far the best Airbnb experience my colleagues and I have had. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Kigali and will definitely return.

Alp’s house is perfectly located in the Kimihurura neighbourhood with bars and trendy restaurants within walking distance. While in the city and centric, once in, you are in nature, surrounded by green trees and a huge garden, often with a cozy evening fire. Waking up to the song of birds, sitting in the terrace having a Turkish coffee prepared by Alp and seeing a couple of turaco birds sing and dance while breathing Kigali's crispy morning air was certainly a unique experience. The wooden sauna was just the cherry on the top. Getting in there in the evening and sweating out all the worries from a hard workday was just fantastic. Without doubts I will stay again at Alp’s when I get back to Kigali! Thank you Alp for all the conversations and the wisdom!

Nicely decorated house in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and well-equipped, and it came with a staff who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

A beautiful house in which we all spent an incredible time ! Béatrice was very helpful and nice with us, as Léna and Fabrice who were always available when we had questions. We recommend without any hesitation this house !

My group and I needed a getaway, and this stay was exactly that. It offered a somewhat secluded feel while still being conveniently located—just 7 to 10 minutes from businesses and near the university—making it a perfect fit for us. The home was nice, and overall, we had a great stay. I have to commend the host for their responsiveness; there were a few minor issues, but they addressed them promptly and to the best of their ability. Communication was excellent, and they made a great effort to ensure my group and I enjoyed our time. I would definitely book with them again. Just a heads-up: the last 5 minutes of the drive to the house are on unfinished roads due to ongoing development in the area, so be prepared for that.
