W odległości ok. 6 km znajduje się była Kwatera Hitlera w Gierłoży więc świetne miejsce dla osób, które chcą pozwiedzać bunkry nie tylko w Gierłoży ale i inne wojenne kwatery w okolicy. Karolewo to niewielka miejscowość z ciekawą historią a także świetna baza wypadowa na wycieczki po okolicy (jeziora, lasy, zabytki) jak i na krótszy lub dłuższy pobyt🙂
