Beautiful cabin in the woods that isn’t too far from anything but feels isolated just the same. Terrific base of operations to access many trailheads, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Restful and low maintenance stay. We would recommend and visit again.

Wonderful stay! We enjoyed doing puzzles and exploring the nearby waterfall and lakes. The space was perfect, and we appreciated the opportunity to relax here.

Tomo was a fantastic, responsive host, and the space was private, inviting, and warm. The home was as described and the surrounding property was perfect for walking the dogs. I would highly recommend anyone looking for some serenity to stay here. Not a big deal but I wish I would have known prior to our stay that trash was not disposed on premises- we had to drive 10 minutes away to drop off and pay for trash disposal. It was super easy and very cheap, just wish I would've known prior to our stay. Thank you Tomo!!

The setting itself is absolutely stunning!Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Adirondacks, the property felt like a peaceful sanctuary. Inside, we were greeted by cozy furnishings, inviting spaces, and a sense of home that made it hard to leave. The warmth of the hosts and the evident care they put into the space only added to the overall experience. It was a true joy to wake up each morning in such a beautiful place, feeling both relaxed and inspired by the surroundings. We had a fantastic stay at this home in Johnsburg! The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy, and we really appreciated how dog-friendly the space was—our two pups felt right at home. The hot tub and pool were a huge bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Adirondacks. Our child loved the fun game room stocked with toys, and the pool table provided entertainment for the adults, too. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for comfort and fun in a beautiful setting!

Our stay was very nice! Our top requests are clean, quiet and comfortable beds. All three were met. Pat, was very friendly and helpful with our stay. I would stay there again!

We had an amazing time staying at Debbie’s place this past weekend. It was so quiet and peaceful - the sunsets and stargazing are incredible! There are plenty of trails to explore, but the fenced in yard itself is quite spacious and was perfect for our active pup. You can see the main house from the cabin, but it still felt very private. WiFi is fine, but true to the property notes, I wouldn’t recommend trying to stream anything/video conferencing. The bed was comfy, shower was hot, and the kitchen was well stocked. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall weekend getaway, and definitely plan on returning next year. Thank you, Debbie (and Alfie!), for your hospitality!

Beautiful relaxing space, just as listed. Kylie left thoughtful touches like wine for us and treats for my dogs. She left clear instructions and was very accessible and responsive. We will definitely be back!

My wife, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at Shyra's place. The home was clean, warm, and welcoming—our dog felt right at home. Waking up to stunning views of the high peaks from the backyard was truly unforgettable. Short drives to Schroon Lake and Ticonderoga. A great home base of you're looking to hike any of the Adirondack high peaks. Shyra was communicative and very responsive throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We had such a great time at Ashley's place and really appreciated the welcome basket & being able to bring our 2 kitties with us to stay that need meds. (We also loved the neighborhood porch kitty that visited daily.) Thank you SO much, Ashley!

Our group had a great time at Anna & JP’s cabin. Not only was the cabin comfortable & filled with amenities - it is right in the middle of all of the best trail heads! 5 stars

Scot's place is idyllic! We stayed here when we got engaged last year during the Total Solar Eclipse (4/8/2024) and we were SO excited to come back! Our long weekend went way too fast - the cabin was perfect on both the rainy days and sunshine filled days. So cozy, and we loved using the deck! It's beautiful to look at the river and mountains all day. Our dog Rox joined us on our trip this time and she absolutely loved it. We can't wait to come back!!! Thank you, Scot!

We loved our stay. Host was friendly and told us about the property when we arrived. Lake placid was around the corner with plenty of restaurants, shops and hikes. Their land is beautiful with a pond and our dog loved to roam. The cabin was lovely. The owner crafted it himself and well. We can tell it he worked hard on it and it was built extremely well done for the space. We would come back again in the future. Thank you for allow us to experience your space :)

It is our second time there. It is perfect location to do our door winter activity. She has a new mattress that is very good. Would stay there again

I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the local guidebook and extra blankets. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and soak in the beauty of the area. I can’t wait to come back!

An amazing property that offers one of a kind views of the surrounding mountains all while sitting in a hot tub or laying on a couch. Great jump spot for hiking into the High Peaks Wilderness! Don is an amazing host and will exceed all expectations. We truly look forward to our next visit at the Ridgeline.

Michael’s place is absolutely gorgeous. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we still felt very cozy and at home. When we got a little break in the weather we went to some nearby hikes and views with our dog who loved every bit of it. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a great stay at the cabin. Beautiful space and very private. Great access to the high peaks region. Everything about the place was spot on. Brooke was very friendly and responsive. Could not be happier and we will definitely be back for ski season.

The house and location are beautiful the location is perfect walking distance to town. The grounds are beautiful. We will be back to enjoy the space again!
