A month and a half ago, I was in Senegal, in Saly. This time, I chose a guest room at Bintou's in Ndangane. We discover a completely different face of Senegal: that of the true Teranga, where hospitality is not a concept, but a way of being deeply rooted in the hearts. His hospitality, availability and kindness are remarkable. If the world were made up of people like her, it would be infinitely more harmonious. Her cooking is excellent at every meal, and she always takes the time to share these moments with her guests. The exchanges are sincere, profound, imbued with reason and wisdom. This stay was much more than accommodation: a precious human encounter. I say this with conviction: on my next trip to Senegal, I will no longer look for a place to stay. I am now certain: I will return to Bintou, where you don't just visit a country, but where you marry its soul.
