One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Kamal and family, you are wonderful!

We kwamen hier om nog een dagje uit te rusten na onze trekking in de Himalaya en dat is perfect gelukt. Gelegen tussen de velden van de boeren en mooi uitzicht op de stad. Mohan was zeer vriendelijk en heel erg behulpzaam. We moesten midden in de nacht vertrekken naar de luchthaven en Mohan heeft voor ons vervoer geregeld en zelf een heel lekker ontbijt gemaakt. We komen zeker terug als we ooit nog eens in Nepal zijn.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful accommodation. The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything. The place itself was warm and inviting, with lovely details that made it feel like home. Rashil and Kiwako were outstanding hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality really made a difference and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and charming spot to stay. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area!

A very special stay in a peaceful farm with a wonderful, local host family. We loved the intentionality of the spaces, the communication w the host (local family can use Google translate), and how well they accommodated our food allergies and requests. For those w different abilities - Lots of stairs and very bumpy road coming in! Not a place to do remote work w limited service/wifi but a great place for retreating! We would definitely come back and recommend for those looking for a peaceful stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Tahaja Guest Tower! It was a great way to end a four week trip in Nepal. The Tower itself is so beautiful, with a very nice terrace to sit outside. Nice beds, great shower, coffee and tea. The whole property is beautiful, quiet, with a lot of green and flowers. And still just a 20 min walk to Bhaktapur. Puneshwari and Mohan make delicious breakfast and dinner, and are so helpfull. Contact with Lena was also very easy.

Yugin was a superhost. The house was clean and looked just as the pictures. But Yugin being an exceptional host helped my parents who traveled from India, in every way possible. From helping with the currency to booking taxis and providing local knowledge and recommendations, he has done it all. Highly recommended.

Amazing place for escape with your friends from hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Highly recommended!
