Holiday rentals with beach access in Kaukana

Rossella is a very friendly, straightforward and flexible host. We felt very comfortable in their place. The apartment is small but offers everything needed for two people. The sloping roof gives the apartment a great charm. Breathtaking and super beautiful is the large, sunny terrace. The sea, despite the second row of streets, is almost within easy reach due to the height of the terrace (3rd floor). Within walking distance are shopping as well as the beautiful village center of Marina di Ragusa with many restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The apartment on the third floor is only accessible by stairs (the last one a little narrow and steep). You should be good on foot - then that's fine. Thank you Rossella for letting us spend our holidays in your great apartment!

The place looked even better than the photos. It was spacious and spotless. Laura and Silvio were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Very walkable area. Silvio met us at check in and gave very clear instructions to find nearby parking (covered lot with hourly rate; €15/24° max). Would stay there again. Thanks Laura and Silvio!

We had the most beautiful time at this beach house and hope to come again one day! You can hear the sound of the ocean all the time, the interior is cosy and everything you need in the kitchen is there. The communication with Francesco was perfect. It‘s a gem.

We had an enjoyable stay in this roomy apartment. Communication with Emily was immediate, directions were clear and easy to follow, list of places to shop and eat was useful. Was given recommendation and contact for garage to park car, 20 euro per night.

This place was better than what we had asked for. Very spacious, extremely clean, walkable to all the amazing restaurants and farmers market. Francesco responded right away to any questions we had about the area. I can't wait to come back and stay in this location and beautifully clean home.

If there were 10 star ratings I would give this place a 10+star. First of all Salvatore’s communication was 11/10. His place is in the Historical district where all the action is and is very walkable to the marina. His place is pristine and this would be the only place I would stay if I were to go back again. He arranged for parking for me, always asked how things were going and he had items sometimes like you take for granted such as extra towels, had water for us. Once again, he gave clear cut instructions on how to get there and we absolutely loved his place. Thank you so much for your hospitality as we greatly appreciated it. Make sure you look no more and this is the place to stay at.

The apartment is just as described , we had a couple of problems Stefania and her husband took care of it very quickly to solve it , there is a place to park it is not a minor fact in Italy , the area is super quiet , for my taste a little far from the attractions

This was an amazing place to stay. We spent hours admiring the 180 degree view, so relaxing. The facilities on offer were excellent and the icing on the cake was Santi….what a host ! Never intrusive but always available with ideas and support. The best holiday ever. Grazie Mille.

Great house, absolutely faultless. Very private and the pool is bigger than the photos.

Good location within walking distance to sites, shops and restaurants! Clean and modern. Nice view of marina from upstairs bedroom!! Marcello provided a great list of places to go to and see! Convenient parking nearby if you need it. When the construction out front ends, the walkway will be a welcome edition. Euros requested for the tourist tax so remember to have exact change.

The place was perfect for the 6 of us (myself, my wife and 2 grown up children with partners). The description says 2 doubles and 1 twin, but Marco set the twin up as a double which felt like a double. The only slight comments are that: - there were only 5 sun beds by the pool - there was a shortage of glasses - the description says towels for bathroom and pool towels - there was 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small towel each which meant we could either have a large towel for use in the shower or by the pool.

The villa is right on the beach, you can't get any closer to the sea, you open the back gate and here it is right in front of you - no crowds, just stretches of sand and crystal clear water. There were days we literally saw no other people. Pool area is brand new and again amazing, you can relax in no time. As for the villa itself all as per description, two separate entrances suited our party really well, upstairs apartment has the most beautiful sea view from the bedroom and amazing terrace. Downstairs apartment is also equally comfortable. What I really liked there was lots of stuff inside the house to make the stay most comfortable, sunscreen + insect repellent, board games, bluetooth speaker, spices and condiments in the kitchen. You need a car to get around as the area is remote and private which is only a plus for me. We wish to be back one day, highly recommend Viviana's place to reconnect with nature and have a proper rest.

I highly recommend Carmelo's place. It is in an excellent location, has a comfortable space, and is steps from the water. The area is quieter at the end of the street, yet still close to everything. I would stay there again.

Giuliana was a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and always discreet. Her beautiful Shanti is a truly special place: the house is stunning, peaceful, and the pool adds a magical touch. We felt at home from the very first moment. Giuliana was always available with helpful suggestions and made our stay in Sicily even more enjoyable. Her kindness and care made a real difference. This has been a holiday we will always remember with joy. Thank you, Giuliana, from all of us – we hope to return soon to this little oasis of peace.

Beautiful ambience, everything very clean and perfectly furnished. This accommodation is tasteful and sophisticated in detail, a true gem right by the sea

A beautiful spacious property, well equipped and with a marvellous swimming pool in which we swam every day. Alberto and also Nisha were very responsive and helpful. The villa is an easy 15 -20 minute drive to Siracusa.

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

We loved the apartment and Ortigia very much In a great spot , very much in the heart of village life , the window doors were amazing blocking out sound. Communication and support with host was excellent Virginia and Michael

Amazing air BnB - awesome roof terrace!

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Lucia's family home. Communication was fantastic from the start but this continued with a catch up to hand over the keys and a tour of her beautiful family home. There were notes left for swim spots, restaurants, must see activities plus a beautiful handwritten book on the island and some welcome goodies. The house itself was huge, with ample room for two adult children with us. Air con was a welcome with temperatures at mid thirty as was the huge outdoor terrace which was used daily. Th kitchen was well equipped with coffee machine, washing machine, lots of equipment. There were games and yoga mats, swim towels and everything you may need plus a selection of items if you had forgotten anything. We worked our way through most of Lucia's restaurant suggestions, all were fabulous. I swam at least twice a day in the crystal clear water 5 minutes from the house. The bus was easy from the airport and we also took the bus to Nato. Thank you Lucia.

We spent a very pleasant 10 days at Salvo and his parents place. After exploring the beautiful surrounding towns, we were able to spend time in the garden or cool off in the sea, to which there is direct access. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful. An ideal place for a quiet vacation in Sicily.

We are delighted with these three days spent in Syracuse with Fabio. The accommodation is extremely well located right next to Ortigia. We easily found parking. The accommodation is well equipped and very quiet. Fabio always available to answer our questions, I recommend.

staying here is like being a local Ortagian we were greeted at our parking space by Enrico who is Majas man on the ground who took us down the street to the apartment so much better than having to find a key lock box the apartment is superbly equipped and stylish in a typical Italian fashion large lounge with views two bedrooms both on a par ditto for the bathrooms on the third floor there is also an amazing terrace ideal for the alfresco breakfast sunbathing and pre dinner sundowners this was one of the best airbandbs we know and we would like to return

My partner and I stayed at Cristina’s place for 3 nights in the first part of our Sicily holiday. The apartment was peaceful, clean and quiet with everything you need. The courtyard area was great for some fresh air and eating breakfast. Pleasantly surprised at how much bigger the space was in person- plenty of room. The walk to Ortigia was around 10 minutes and was fine to do if you do not have any mobility issues. The apartment is in a residential area so short walk to some local shops/bakeries. Cristina is a wonderful host who replied very quickly and readily provided information. Thank you again Cristina :)
