From the yard of the cottage, the opportunity to go straight into the woods in the winter with snowshoes, a forest trail on foot, or a kick sled. The name of the cottage is"Palokero". It's named after a nearby fell.

The cottage really the house is somewhat renovated, but it still needs it a little bit, but it feels like home, grandma. Right next to the house is a river that can be viewed from the deck of the outdoor sauna, a border river nearby. The rent includes , linens, snowshoes, and forest shoots for four, as well as sliders and kicksleds.

Welcome to stay in Muonio! A peaceful small village of around 1100 inhabitants, located on the bank of the river Muoniojoki. Just a few hundreds metre of the front channel of the river you find our peaceful, cosy house. You will be able to use one half of the house. The house has two flats which are not connected. Privacy and peace for our guests! To the centre of Muonio, where you can find a very good selected K-market shop and also a S-market it is just about 2,2 km.

Quiet neighborhood close by a nature that provides lots of possibilities for outdoor activities such as cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, ice fishing in the winter and hiking, canoeing, biking, berry picking and fishing in the summer.
