You can rent an entire guest house in a full-fledged Japanese house from the Taisho era, built about 100 years ago. You can relax and enjoy your stay in Nara. It is located right next to Nara Park, about a 10-minute walk to Kintetsu Nara Station. It is also easy to take a stroll in the quiet early morning or evening. Same price for up to 4 people.Up to 9 people can stay. The latticed windows, tea room, veranda, courtyard, and Japanese house built in the Taisho era are full of charm. Please relax in the living room with a sunken brazier facing the courtyard. The kitchen is equipped with an IH stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, pot, cooking utensils, etc. Cook with everyone, and enjoy looking at the garden while sitting at the low table with a pot in the middle! There are two toilets and two shower rooms. There are no facilities like a hotel, but we would appreciate it if you could have a nostalgic atmosphere and a relaxing time. There are only bedrooms, but there are 3 rooms in total (4 rooms if you divide the large Japanese-style room). We will prepare it according to the number of people. This is a newly renovated old Japanese house, a middle-class residence built in 1929 and renovated in 2017. It is a legal accommodation permitted by the city of Osaka. Located in the southern part of Osaka, a very quiet residential area. 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station, Kishinosato. It is easy to reach Namba, Umeda by subway, KIX and Koyasan by Nankai Railway. The 7-11 convenience store is one minute away. The Sento public bath is also very close to my house.

A Satoyama Private Retreat in Nara

A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.
