Holiday rentals with a pool in Karangasem Regency

I chose this place for my honeymoon so I wanted it to be a memorable place. This place is definitely one of the gems in Sidemen. It looks exactly like in the photos. An extremely huge thanks to Pak Esa, Pak Komang, and the caretakers at the villa for fulfilling our requests and making sure we had a great time at Sauca Villa. We’re a bit fussy about food but they’re willing to go the extra mile for us ❤️ I would definitely come again and recommend this place to anyone

I had a beautiful stay at the Joglo in Candidasa. Wayan was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and unobtrusive. The Joglo is simply stunning, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Falling asleep to jungle sounds was pure magic. Candidasa feels like old Bali: peaceful, authentic, and safe enough to explore by scooter. Oketo Cafe was a standout for breakfast. I’d avoid breakfast at Nirwana Resort—it was really disappointing. One bit of constructive feedback: there’s no detailed guest guide. Info like rubbish disposal, how to access extra towels, recommended mosquito repellents, laundry services, and food delivery options (there was only a menu for one place) would’ve been helpful and saved bothering Wayan with small questions. A guide would also reassure first-timers if the power goes out (as it briefly did for us). That said, it was a wonderful stay and I’d love to return. Highly recommend for a peaceful and authentic escape.

Adventure in the Wilderness! This is truly a stunning place to stay and the host is constantly trying to perfect the stay. The place is a little remote. There is nothing within walking distance. You have to rent a scooter (you also get by the host). The journey to Sidemen then takes 20-30 minutes on really catastrophic roads. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful. But you have to be aware that nature can be very noisy at night. And of course the place also doesn't have air conditioning (because everything is open). Accordingly, it can be very warm and also noisy. The accommodation is super clean and very nicely equipped. This place is worthwhile as a little adventure.

Great homely villa with everything you need.

As far as I'm concerned, I think Sidemen and his crops, like the house, were the best part of the trip. I loved everything and I was sorry I could only spend one night there. In a short time they organized a trek for us and they were all very helpful. The only problem is the neighbor Gallo who starts singing at 5 in the morning :)

This place exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful, maybe the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. The staff were very friendly, the views were unbelievable, food was delicious and easy to order, and the included scooter was perfect for us to explore surrounding areas. We also enjoyed a massage at their spa which was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bali!

awesome villa in the rice field, the host were very friendly and lovely, and we definitively love this place. they offer a lot of service and recommendations. we walked through the rice fields starting from the villa. The restaurant is also very tasty and the view from there is amazing.

Excellent accommodation, excellent host, beautiful place with the sunrise in front of the room. Both the host and the girls were sooo polite and smiley, they were always there for us without being noticed. Beautiful rimless swimming pool, a quiet place to rest after Ubud’s madness, but also close to Amed for further activities. A must-stay place in Bali.

Lovely peaceful spot for our 3 night stay in Bali

What excellent value for money. Everything we needed for the afternoon and evening before catching a late flight home. Perfect spot for last minute market shopping and a spectacular beach sunset - we actually wished we'd been able to stay the night as the bed was comfy and the linen spotless. Although a little tired the place was spotless - we were very impressed and the cleaner was so helpful and absolutely lovely. If Legian is your place to come then don't look past this for a value stay with access to three pools and the beach.

The accommodation was fantastic. It was very roomy, clean and in a fantastic location. We had use of the resort facilities and loved the pool. We also used the restaurant and the food was great. The beach is a 15 minute walk but there is also a shuttle service available.

I like this villa. It has good location and u walk 15 minutes to the city center. we rented a motorcycle and it's more convenient to go anywhere from there。 The villa is clean and quiet。 So let me enjoy a very good vacation there。

We had a great stay. Charming villa, always responsive & wonderful staff. Definitely recommended.

The Boathouse was wonderful. Very private & extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped & the entire Villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Despite very clear directions to the Villa, our driver did get lost, but phoned Putu and he was extremely helpful in assisting our driver to get to the Villa. An easy walk down a couple of gangs to the main street and you come out right next to Bali 101 Hotel and Hardy's is next door to this Hotel, so easy to pick up supplies. There are a number of great local Warungs nearby, if you don't feel like going onto the main street for meals. Having the Villa cleaned daily was an unexpected bonus and this made our stay even better. We will definitely stay again at The Boathouse.

the accommodation was just like the photos, we loved it. in a very quiet place, near a supermarket, cafes and several more businesses. we had breakfast and service to the Villa. Eka helped us with what we needed, and even moved us to another city. The place is totally recommended!!!. Thank you so much for everything

Wayan is the best host in Bali, we had a wonderful stay in his villa in Seminyak. The villa was the right choice and Wayan himself was very helpful and open to our requests. 10/10

Great place to dtay igf you want to be more disconnected and witj privacy. Having a motorcycle to get around is advisable good idea.

We stayed at Winarta’s villa for a week with our 3 year old and 9 month old daughters. We had a fantastic trip! Winarta was a wonderful host, we were collected from the airport (1am arrival time), kindly shown the villa, and driven to the supermarket the next morning to buy essentials. The villa itself was great - it had everything we needed (including cot, high chair, play mat for the kids) and the location was perfect. We especially loved the pool and garden. Thanks for having us - we hope to come back again soon!
