It was a great pleasure to meet Naoko and her family. Before my stay, Naoko thoughtfully sent me a detailed guide introducing the nearby places, which was incredibly helpful. During my stay, whenever I had any questions, she responded promptly and kindly. Every morning, opening the window to see the beautiful scenery was truly healing. The house assistant also did a wonderful job with the cleaning — she even found an earring I had lost for several days! The spotless fans must have taken a lot of effort to clean as well. Everything was just amazing ^ω^. I look forward to meeting 風の家 again next time.

The property is conveniently located near the main street, but it was peaceful. I enjoyed good sleep, and loved waking up to the songs of birds! The restaurant in the property is lovely, and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and I would love to stay again : )

Fantastic hosts!!! 10/10! I was only in Nepal for a short time this trip but they made it very easy to find everything I desired to do and direct me in the right direction! The food was great and the room/bed was very comfortable. Not to mention the host also has their own expedition company which I will be using when I come back! If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Katmandu I fully recommend them!

Cozy & Lovely Single Room in Boudha, Ananda Tree

My stay at Ananda Tree house was very pleasant, the common areas are kept clean and with everything you need. 10-15min walk to the stupa and surrounding areas. Coffee shop downstairs is perfect to snack, enjoy drinks and do computer work as wifi is not that strong in the rooms. It’s a lovely ambiance and everyone is friendly. Keep in mind streets are busy and active most of the time so silence is very rare in this area, it just takes a bit to adjust to the external noises at night. Overall I enjoyed my stay! Thank you Passang for your attention.

I spent my last few days with this wonderful Newar family, and I was warmly and hospitably welcomed. They helped me with everything, even cooked for me, and bought bananas and toast because I had a serious stomach issue – a gastric inflammation. The room is beautiful and very well maintained, the terrace is spacious with a lovely view. Playing the madal and singing together was a very special experience. I’m grateful to have met them.
