Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kansas City Metropolitan Area

This place was the perfect place to stay for a week-long visit to the Independence area: It was well furnished, cozy, and not too far from everywhere we wanted to go.

House was great! Lots of space, fully loaded kitchen and great gathering spaces!

Our family came into town for a wedding, and we enjoyed staying at this home. It accommodated us well, was clean, and had a great location. If you have any trouble getting around, I will note that the upstairs bedroom and basement have some very steep stairs, and that it is an old home so is also pretty creaky. There is a lot of room to spread out, and our host was communicative and friendly! Overall, I would recommend this home.

Location is the best part of this home. I loved being so close to my favorite parts of KC. The house is beautifully decorated and well designed, making a small square foot home feel very functional and spacious. I also enjoyed the private driveway and nice backyard! Worked well for my family with (had a toddler and a baby with me)! Had a pack and play and the large mirror was anchored to the wall!!! Could consider adding high chair and more child utensils/plates/cups but those are minor requests!

Property was just exactly as it was in the pictures. Patio and backyard were very peaceful places to be during sunset. All the rooms were very spacious and clean. Very big property and quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended to those looking for a big place to stay with friends or family!!

Peaceful getaway in a secluded area. Close to recreation areas, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and the KC metro. Well utilized space with many thoughtful touches to make us feel calm and relaxed. Very well stocked kitchen had more than we needed. Lots of various games and puzzles are available if desired. Comfortable bed & spacious open kitchen/living area were a highlight. Exactly the space we needed and in the perfect location for us. Thank you!

We adored our stay in this artfully decorated and intentionally stocked home. From touches like extra throw blankets to a variety of products in the bathroom to cozy little nooks for chatting throughout the space, this was one of our favorite Airbnbs ever. Tina was helpful and responsive. We couldn’t get over how healthy her house plants were! Would definitely stay again, if life brings us back to KC!

Ryan and Mel were wonderful hosts. Very attentive & responded very quickly. Their place is darling! Our cats especially loved the porch area watching all the wildlife. One evening I even got the joy of seeing a momma raccoon & her baby❤️! We highly recommend this cute little house!

This place is a must-stay when visiting KC! The host was super responsive with clear and helpful instructions. Easy access to everywhere in KC and close to a great area with coffee, breweries, and restaurants. I thought it was a great touch that they included a guide to help you find places to go and things to do. Another great touch was the check-in book in the living room. It was great to see where everyone went on their stays, which gave us ideas for future visits. I would 10/10 recommend staying here.

My wife and I had a great stay at Cheryl's guest suite! From a dedicated parking spot, to easy access, to a fully stocked and immaculate space, I would 100% recommend staying here. The location can't get any better - 18 mins to downtown, 30 mins to airport, walking distance to old OP. Cheryl is an excellent communicator, and was so friendly and accommodating for us on check in / check out.

We stayed at this beautiful Airbnb to celebrate a wedding in KC. Everything was in top notch condition and extremely clean. The host was helpful and checked in throughout our stay. I highly recommend!

Jaymi's Airbnb was a great place to stay during my vacation in Kansas City. It’s located in a safe area and a quick drive to restaurants, bars, and other activities. The home was very clean, the AC worked perfectly, and I had everything I needed during my stay. Would recommend!

Megan is an exceptional host. The place is exactly as described. Perfectly clear instructions for entry and departure. We were very impressed with all the details within the apartment. The bed was super comfy….& I will admit I am a bed snob! My husband and I enjoyed it very much. We loved walking around the area and to the Capital. I will book again in a few weeks when I return to visit my son who lives nearby.

Rob and Brenda had a very nice spot in downtown KC. We had a concert at the T-Mobile Center and it was really nice to walk over. Plus there are a multitude of wonderful restaurants in the area, as well as, the apartment is situated close to the river market district!

My friends and I loved staying here. We had stayed for a week to celebrate a birthday and the place was very cozy and clean. The furnishings were great, and our hosts were very receptive and friendly. They had even gotten a bonfire started in the fire pit for us so we could enjoy their lovely patio in the back yard. The location is safe and walkable, with a restaurant plaza within walking distance full of great options. For the price, location, and all of the amenities, this place is a gem to say at, and Brian and Kari were gracious hosts who made sure we stayed comfortable for the entire stay. Would highly recommend!

We were unlucky on the nights we chose in terms of restaurants- Sunday and Monday not much was open. But we did find places to eat. Just good to keep in mind. Kim gave us some suggestions which helped. We also attended the Amish auction Tuesday AM, which was interesting; plants, produce mostly. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. Kim is a great host!

We love Marc and Christine's place! We stayed there last year on our trip to Yellowstone and again this year (way out and way back). Wonderful simple place.

Shereen was very responsive and helpful!! The place looked like the photos. It is a little walk to the lake and you can’t see the lake from the house but it was still beautiful countryside. Very spacious and lots of yard space for games and being outside. Didn’t use the lake front as water was really high and you couldn’t walk out to the dock because of this. Not her fault of course just be aware if you are renting during a rainy time. Lots of sleeping spaces and great kitchen!! Would definitely consider renting again.

We were looking for a quiet secluded space to recharge and Ben’s place was perfect. Clean cozy and well stocked for our needs. It rained most of the time we were there and we enjoyed it from the cozy interior. The lush green trees surrounded the cabin and gave us privacy and quiet. We will return when it’s not raining so we can enjoy the fire pit!

Serene and peaceful! If you are looking for a getaway from any city life with an amazing quiet breathtaking view this is the place. Worth every penny and we will definitely be back. Best AirB&B place I’ve ever stayed at to date.
