Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kangaroo Island

Fantastic communication. Wildlife visitors each night. Nice and secluded surrounded by just enough bush land but at the same time short walk to the beach to enjoy the sunset. We will be back Thanks Christine

We had a lovely stay at Tom's place. It was well equipped and easy to navigate. The beds were extremely comfy! There is also a dedicated area where we could clean our fish caught from the surroundings! Tom's place is a place we'd would definitely return for our next KI trip.

The Surf Shack is a wonderful, off-the-grid getaway, within walking distance of beautiful Stokes Bay beach. We made friends with the wildlife and enjoyed cosy fires. Thanks so much for being our home away from home during our fabulous week away on Kangaroo Island!

Possum Ridge was a really private and peaceful retreat for our stay on Kangaroo Island. The bush surroundings were beautiful and the house very suited to our extended-family stay. We really appreciated all the facilities like TVs, BBQ, fully functioning kitchen, washing facility and many household amd pantry items available, such as kitchen items, condiments, washing and bathing needs. Plus upstairs and downstairs sitting areas which suited our multi-generation group. It was a pleasure to stay... many thanks.

Magnificent weekend away with my besties. The spectacular view, the sounds of the ocean and the beautiful weather made this weekend just perfect. Another added bonus was seeing farm animals and kangaroos around the property. We also enjoyed the lovely decorated house and cosy comfort. We took in the views, chilled out, cooked all our own meals and drank SA wine. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had and were kind enough to let us check in a little earlier on the day. Just over an hour drive from the city, this property is a rare gem.

Plenty of space in this house - large bedrooms and tv in main room. Missed not having electric blankets or a dishwasher but the house stay warm enough with the heater in the ceiling of the main room. Interesting how both the main bathroom and ensuite were at the same end of the house. A secure backyard if we had taken our dogs with us. No beach view but lovely to see/hear a variety of birds.

The place is beautiful! Incredibly peaceful and private. We stayed for 2 nights, and changed our plans so we spent more time at the cabin rather than driving around the island. Sitting on the deck with a coffee first thing watching the sunrise and then reading my book, with the only sound the crashing of waves was a wonderful way to spend a weekend. The place is simple with everything you need and very clean. Loved that we could walk along the small track to the cliff tops and watch dolphins in the water. Will definitely come back to stay!

Felt like home and made me want to instantly live in American River. Let me stay a little longer due to work commitments and I really appreciated that extra hour there! I will be back x

Fantastic comfortable stay. Clean, quiet and cozy. Would definitely recommend.

A great place to stay if you want a peaceful location close to a nice town and beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed Bretts cabin as a base to explore the island. It’s well equipped for cooking, great bathroom and deck to sit out in the evening and watch the stars with a glass of wine. Brett is a really nice guy and very helpful with recommendations and advice. His dog Chase is very friendly too!

We had a great stay! The 'Doll's House' is a homely place, small but well equipped with everything we needed! It is right in the middle of town within easy walking distance to everything Kingscote has to offer. We would highly recommend staying there, but you have to be aware that the stairs to the bedroom are very steep!

Such a cute little accommodation. Had all the amenities needed and has coffee and tea stocked in the kitchen. And the bed was soooo comfy. Victoria was very lovely and accommodating and would definitely recommend/stay again.

Vic has put so much love and care into the cabins, and it was a pleasure to stay there! I wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was such a beautiful and peaceful trip, we can’t wait to come back again soon ☺️

The perfect AirBnB… and I don’t say this lightly. The cabin was perfect - it has everything you need. Beautiful design and all of its details are luxurious - beautiful linen, fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen, perfect lighting. The check in experience is personalised with a welcome letter - it’s beautifully done. Victoria is an amazing host, extremely kind and helpful. Always responded to texts and questions. She put together a lovely pack of information on what to do on the island. I absolutely loved Kangaroo Island and will be coming back and will definitely stay here again!
