Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Kandy

- We stayed with my whole family, total of 7 adults and a child. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful, decor of the house is well thought through and so nice! 😍 - We also booked a cooking class for dinner time and breakfast! There was a little misunderstanding about breakfast, because you can choose between a few options but the staff again went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (which we were anyway 🙂). - Cooking class was interesting, they explained everything thoroughly and food so delicious! We also booked a private bartender who made cocktails while we enjoyed the cooking class, which was very good as well and between the group, great value for money! - swimming pool is nice and refreshing, and view from the top floor terrace is stunning! - overall I would highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for a group but it’s really the staff that makes it extra great!

Definitely a hidden gem with 1000% privacy and unbeatable views. We especially enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Such a relaxing and cozy night. We will be back:)!

I am English staying with young family.. 6 of us a laf minute booking. Much to appreciate from RUPUL as a Barrister at the Bar in Kandy/Colombo and country’s high Courts . I’m a forever returning visitor. The sitting room so stylish and crammed with not just law material! The breakfast was excellent and very accommodating for taking 2nd one with is to sight see early. We had a great stay in Nuwara Eliya. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The property matched the photos with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The food was good overall, but it’s worth proactively guiding the staff on your preferences rather than relying entirely on their suggestions. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We had an incredibly relaxed and satisfying stay at Rajiv’s place. It’s hard to believe this charming bungalow is 144 years old, thanks to Rajiv’s meticulous upkeep while preserving its colonial charm in every corner. Ideally located in Nuwara Eliya, it’s a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind. The hospitality was exceptional—caretakers Lasantha, Pradeep, and the team went above and beyond, from welcoming us with tea to preparing amazing dinners. They even let me join in and cook, which I thoroughly enjoyed! A special thanks to Rajiv for personally staying an extra hour to greet us and give us a tour of the property before leaving. Highly recommend this beautiful place for an unforgettable getaway!

The Balumgala estate was the highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka. From the peaceful surroundings, to the tranquil environment, tasteful furnishings and comfortable beds, the large and well-equipped kitchen, the walawwa style architecture, everything was perfect. Our host, Sandun was always available on Whatsaap to sort out either the wifi connectivity or the TV connection, which was not initially working. The staff at the property did everything to accommodate our needs for meals or recreation, and Siva deserves all the compliments that he has received in the other reviews. He is very polite, caring, thoughtful and an incredible cook!! We stayed here for two nights during the annual Avurudu with a family of five and we would come back any day for another memorable holiday at the picturesque Balumgala estate.

Just amazing. It feels like living in England. Entire surroundings have english villas only. Very peaceful, very pretty and memorable
