High-End Basecamp w/ Epic Views: close to Zion NP

New House! Modern High-End Retreat w/ Epic Views, 85" 4K TV & easy Zion & Bryce Access! Be among the first to experience this brand-new luxury home, built in October 2024. Perched on the town's ridge to capture panoramic mountain views as well as city lights, this 2-bed, 2-bath retreat is the ultimate centrally-located basecamp for exploring Cedar City, Brian Head, Cedar Breaks and Utah's famous National Parks such as Zion, Bryce Canyon, and others. This home is 1 hour (57 miles) from the main (south) entrance to Zion and 20 minutes (18 miles) from the north entrance to Zion. Some rental platforms auto list "30 minutes from Zion" as a highlighted feature. Be aware that though technically true, this can be misleading but unfortunately it is auto-generated information that we are unable to edit. Every detail is designed for comfort, style and luxury! Designer Living & Tech Upgrades: Epic views everywhere! Experience living while being surrounded by stunning mountain views through floor-to-ceiling windows in the open living & eating area. Ultimate Entertainment: Settle in for movie night on the massive 85-inch Smart TV with crystal-clear 4K display, or watch your favorite shows on the two other Smart TVs located in the bedrooms. Eat and Drink: A large eating booth plus a countertop peninsula gives ample space to enjoy meals together. A reverse osmosis system is installed to purify drinking water, an instant hot water dispenser is provided for endless hot drinks, and both an automatic DeLonghi expresso machine and a drip coffee machine are provided for the coffee lovers. Modern Comfort: Enjoy the ambiance of the electric fireplace and under-cabinet mood lighting while you stay connected with fast, fiber optic WiFi. Electric blinds throughout ensure comfort and privacy. Bathroom Luxury: Both en-suite bathrooms feature high-end fixtures, including a Smart bidet toilet in the master bathroom. Outdoor Space: Al Fresco Dining! Step out onto the deck to lounge under the pergola, grill on the Blackstone grill, and dine with a million-dollar mountain and city view. Sunrises and sunsets are both stunning but especially sunsets due to the west-facing red rock mountains. Workspace/Remote Ready: Need to work? Enjoy the dedicated corner desk ready for you with a monitor and printer—your remote office with incredible views. Location, Location, Location... You're perfectly situated for Southern Utah adventures: Cedar City: Only 2 miles to downtown for easy dining, shopping and local exploration. Southern Utah University (SUU), the annual Shakespeare Festival and the sports complexes are less than 5 minutes away and all are visible from the deck. Two I-15 interchanges are each only 4 minutes away! National Parks and Other Outdoor Wonders: The stunning Zion National Park (Kolob Canyon entrance) is just 18 miles away! Three National Parks and a National Monument are each easy day-trips. This is a favorite strategy among guests: stay in Cedar City (complete with a wide range of restaurants and "college town" culture) and capitalize on the central location to conveniently experience a variety of world-class National Parks, scenery and activities. Kanarra Falls - 12 miles Cedar Breaks National Monument - 22 miles Zion National Park - Kolob Canyon Entrance - 18 miles Zion National Park - South (Main) Entrance - 57 miles Bryce Canyon National Park - 80 miles Capital Reef National Park - 160 miles Skiing/Boarding: Hit the slopes at Brian Head Resort, only 33 miles away. Sure, you could stay directly in Brian Head but beware of the extremely limited shopping and dining options. The better move for many is to stay in Cedar City, especially if you aren't accustomed to sleeping at 10,000 feet. Details Matter: - The kitchen has all the equipment you need to prepare a delicious meal including a full set of spices! - Want to hike or picnic? No problem! Guests have access to a backpack-cooler and two sets of hiking poles so you don't have to pack those bulky items. - Need a day of rest? Games for all ages available including cornhole on the deck! - Reverse osmosis system provides clean water to keep you hydrated for all of your adventures as well as instant hot water for endless hot tea and hot drinks on demand. - Large booth with epic mountain views invites time together chatting, eating and playing games. - Solid walnut butcher-block countertops throughout offer a warm and inviting living experience. Green Energy: Solar panels with a full battery system work with the power grid to ensure continuous comfort. Enjoy your stay knowing you are minimizing your environmental impact on the area. Curious about how much solar power was generated or how much you consumed during any given day? Just ask your host! Most sunny days the home operates fully "off the grid". Additional Info: - This single-story home requires 3 steps for entry. - Your safety matters. This property features 3 exterior security cameras: camera 1 is a doorbell camera on the front door facing the exterior entry, camera 2 is on the front of the house facing the driveway, and camera 3 is at the bottom of the driveway facing the basement/garage doors. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion. - Pets are not allowed; however, individuals with allergies should be aware that the owners do have a cat when they stay in the home. - No commercial business may be operated from the property (including but not limited to photo shoots, sales parties, promotional gatherings, etc). - Occasionally, the homeowners or maintenance staff will need to access and be inside the property’s basement/garage. Rest assured, this area has a separate entrance with separate parking, all virtually out of view. A locked door separates this basement level from the house above. - As the property has not been childproofed, guests are encouraged to take extra care if your party includes children. - While the gas grill (Blackstone griddle) is provided for guests use, guests are responsible for refilling the propane tank as needed.
