In the Canadian Rockies Hamlet of Dead Man's Flats (5 min drive from Canmore) this "new" 600 sqft 1 queen bedroom suite & living area full queen Murphy bed (no pull out couch here!) makes this a perfect place to stay for a 1-4 people. We are a 5 minute walk to the river. Easy walk to restaurant and corner store. This is a basement suite and we have young children. This place is great and more affordable compared to Canmore especially if you want to be a short drive from the crowds and tourists.
“I had a fabulous stay at Chris and Jill’s place in Dead Man’s Flats. The location is excellent... just a quick trip for anything you may need. Canmore and Banff are just down the road, and the trip to Calgary is painless as well. The mountain views are spectacular. The apartment is spotless, tastefully decorated, quiet, and well stocked with anything you might need for cooking, with toiletries, first aid, even bear spray! The floor is nice and warm for post caving and hiking feet. The wifi is fast. The bed is so comfy. Chris communicated very well... checking in and out was a breeze. I would definitely highly recommend this Airbnb!!!!”
Baby Bear has a queen bed, your own deck with a river view. Heated. Kitchen sink, table and chairs. Coffee, kettle, small fridge, single burner to be used outside as per insurance. BBQ. 15 min walk to river, trails, shops. Modest kitchenware. Fire pit. Flush toilet . Outdoor summer shower only with very limited hot water.
“Sherri's cabin had everything i needed to have a relaxing and fun camping experience. I particularly loved the indoor washroom and the coffee maker! The fire-pit area was absolutely amazing and Sherri supplied me with lots of firewood during my stay. Spending time with her dog, Blue, was probably the most special part of my time at the Baby Bear Cabin - he's such a sweetheart! I also really appreciated Sherri's hiking tips as well as her friendliness and helpfulness throughout my stay. There are some great trails and beautiful spots within walking distance which is another added bonus. I'd definitely return to the Baby Bear Cabin! Thanks again!”

“We had a fantastic stay at Alex’s and Steve’s place. We were a family group of 5 with one child and grandparents too. Everyone loved the condo. It is spacious with 2 good size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with a bath. The bathrooms have toiletries which was a nice touch. Also having a park pass for guests is a nice touch. The kitchen is well equipped, we had dinner there each evening. The coffee machine is great with plenty of coffee!. The view of the mountains from the dining room was great. The town is a short walk from the condo. We used the condo as a base to visit Lake Louise and Banff and it was a great location for both. The hosts were great at getting in touch before and during our stay. We would recommend this place to stay.”
