Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kanagawa Prefecture

It is the excellent apartment for a few days in Tokyo , very close to train station (5 min walking) many nearby amenities, nice neighborhood and very safe. Large, clean and comfortable apartment.

A rail-fans sanctuary. My wife and I not only picked this location based on it's location in Ginza, but also it's close proximity to the train lines running to and from Ginza Station. You can watch trains and shinkansens pass by at most hours of the day and night which can be exciting to see for rail- heads. The sound never bothered us- infact it lulled us to sleep every night. this location is nestled on the 4th floor above many extremely tasty resturaunts with vibrant night life and if your a night owl like me who goes out to eat at off times, there is no shortage of food near by. Also close to Shin- Godzilla statue outside Toho theater. Masaharu was a very receptive host and communicated promptly we couldn't have asked for a better host. Hit that booking button and you won't be disappointed.

Amazing little(?) spot in the Minato district, right by the Tokyo Tower and within walking/transit distance of almost literally anything you’d be interested in doing in Tokyo. The space is admittedly quite large, which is definitely not a negative, more-so it seems different than most accommodations in the area. Maybe it was due to our group size (2), but we had ample room to fully live out within the space without ever feeling like we were stepping on each others’ toes, besides expectedly tight spaces between often used things/spaces. The location is phenomenal, you are within walking distance of so many great spots and assuming you have figured out how to use the transit via IC card, then it’s a perfect starting grounds for most all of your plans. Great spot and nice amount of space in a usually space-efficient area, definitely worth the price!

Location was perfect for my stay. Very central, close to the train lines, also with much to do around the property. Would definitely stay again!

Again we had a brilliant time at Akari san's apartment this year, Staying Akari san's place is one of highlight of our trip. The reason for this is not only the flat's location, size, layout and ease of use, I always feel at home. The rooms had been renovated and I could feel the story behind Akari's new design in many places. The linen textured walls and the kintsugi (gold-plated wood joinery) that connects the before and after renovation made it clear how much Akari cares about this room and the guests who stay here. The linen was clean and comfortable, and most importantly, every time she remembered that my daughter and I wanted to sleep in separate areas, and was thoughtful enough to set up a comfortable bed in the living room for us. The only drawback is that this room is too popular and it is difficult to book the expected number of days. This can't be helped, but we hope to be able to stay a little longer next year than we did this year.

We appreciate Suyeon sharing her lovely home with us. The home was very clean, and housed our family of 5 comfortably, the 2 showers were helpful. The home is a short walk to the subway and convenience stores. We also took advantage of the local grocery stores after a long day of adventures.

It was a very nice place. It's close to Jihicheul Station, and there are many grocery stores and places to eat near the station. Sohei was very kind and explained in detail at check-in. Flexible check-in was possible, and it was especially useful to have a washing machine. The bathroom was also very nice. Personally, I have a dust allergy, so it's very difficult when the cleanliness is poor, but I was grateful that Sohei's house looked a little old, but it was very clean. I had a good stay with the young children. Best,

We loved our stay here at Yumiko’s place. It was perfect for our needs. It was a close walk to the subway station, right next to 711 and family mart for late night snacks/drinks. The Airbnb itself had ample space for our family of 3. It came with a supplied kitchen, washer, dryer racks, and anything else you might need. Yumiko was very responsive and great at communicating. Would definitely come back to stay here again if given the opportunity! Thanks for the amazing stay!

We had a very nice time in Nobu-san and Tatsuya-san apartment and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was superbly furnished and Shibuya can be reached comfortably within 15-20 minutes on foot. Communication was just as fabulous. Thank you for your hospitality :) Best regards, Enrico

Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It’s our number one favorite country to come back again and again Thank you Yukari for allowing us to stay at your place and for being so nice to us

During our university spring break, we had the pleasure of staying in the Akatsuki room at Canvas, a place that truly felt like a home away from home. Surrounded by convenience stores, supermarkets, and a pharmacy, the location ensured we lacked for nothing. The Akatsuki room, which is pet-friendly and fully equipped, offered us all the comforts we could wish for. Given Canvas's prime location near the sea, we were just a short walk away from the beach. The winter seascape was stunningly beautiful, a view so mesmerizing that it alone makes extending your stay worthwhile. We highly recommend booking a longer stay to fully immerse yourself in the serene beauty and tranquility this place has to offer.

Great place for a getaway. This is the place to go to relieve all your stress. Every room has an amazing view and the artwork is one of a kind. I recommend this place for every one. It's a must see!

The alley to the entrance is a little surprising, but the unit itself is cosy and nice. The beds and futons are very comfortable with spotless, soft sheets. It is right behind Chinatown, so we have enjoyed our night walk and snacking a lot. We appreciated the early drop-off very much!

Yukio had a really nice place, and they are a very nice person to speak with. We had a small leak, but Yukio was able to get it fixed the next day. For tourists, keep in mind that trash will need to be separated.

This was a great place to stay, really close to Shibuya station and Shibuya in general. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable (minus the pillow), lots of amenities. I would recommend this place to stay.

Very comfortable beds, great shower, projector to watch program on rainy evening. Superb location close to beach!

nice staying experience

I stayed for 2weeks. Sayoko was a perfect host, very responsive and helpful with suggestions and booking taxis for Toyosu tuna auction which starts at 5.30am and to the airport station etc. Her place is as published. Clean, safe and with all amenities. Stones throw away from Ginza Street with shops, kombinis, restaurants. It is also near Osaki station which is on the main Yamanote train line...same line as Shibuya, Shinjuku and many other tourist stations. I felt at home and would stay here when I return! Thankyou Sayoko!

Daisuke was an amazing host! He responded within minutes to any questions we had about the place (keys, laundry). He also gave us great local recommendations for coffee, restaurants, and local music/stores/bars. He even met us for coffee! The place itself is in a really cool neighborhood and it's only a 5 minute walk to the train station, very convenient. We loved staying in Shimokitazawa and at Daisuke's place, and we'd happily come again!

Haletto House offers two large bedrooms and a comfortable downstairs living room. It’s a great location, close to the beach and Koshigoe shops and very close to the train station- quick and easy trip to beautiful Kamakura and Hase. Guests need to be aware that there is a steep staircase from bedrooms to the bathroom and living areas. Catherine.
