house was super clean, beds were very comfy and there were lots of pillows and blankets. plenty of things in the kitchen we could use! overall it was a comfortable stay.

This was perfect for our little getaway from home! The water was so relaxing as well as kept the kids busy. They generously have paddle boards and kayaks which were a huge hit. The board games surprisingly kept our teens busy for hours at night so we loved having those. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

It was the perfect spot for a family getaway, and everyone from the kids to the grandparents found something to enjoy. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, which made cooking and sharing meals easy and enjoyable. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s just a short boat ride to the famous Torch Lake sandbar, and having our own dock made getting on the water super convenient. The backyard was peaceful and full of charm, with a great fire pit and regular visits from birds, frogs, and even a few deer. It truly felt like a relaxing Midwestern retreat. The house was very well furnished, yard was perfect for a nightly bonfire with friends and family. Close enough to town where you could easily get groceries, fuel, or simple go out to eat with no worry about it being a long drive. The house was located perfectly around multiple trailheads for ORV riding (within 20 mins). The only thing that I can say that was a downside to the rental was the amount of kitchenware. For a cabin that sleeps 10, there were limited plates, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils.

Everything as pictured and described. We fit comfortably with plenty of room. Great location, close to everything. Host was easy to communicate with and friendly. Awesome gameroom for kids. Mother in law suite smelled a little musty, and also no closets or dressers in there for ur clothes. It would be nice if there was at least 1 dresser. But worked for what we needed.

Great home and location, right near torch lake and the marina. Very peaceful, and beautiful views, especially at sunset. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Our group of six adults really enjoyed our stay at the Bear Lake Barnhouse. We rented side by sides from Rippin Razor rentals in St Helen & they delivered them and picked them up which is perfect because the trails are close by. We loved all the choices of fun things to do including the boat we decided to rent for our stay. Downtown Grayling is close by and the food at Ray's BBQ & Paddle Board was really good if your not feeling like cooking but if you do want to cook the kitchen is well equipped. There was even some oil, spices, foil & storage bags in the kitchen which was nice. We mostly ate out but we did cook hotdogs on the grill one night & enjoyed a bonfire afterwards during our 4 night stay. Nick was an excellent host very responsive & helpful. If in the area again with a group we would stay here again.

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Angela’s! The location was perfect. The view itself is absolutely stunning and we loved being right on the bay. The home is extremely clean and comfortable. We are so excited to come back again soon!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

The firehouse was a really cool environment and we walked almost everywhere to eat, to the beach, to shop. It was exactly what we wanted!

We were in town for the Bayshore Half Marathon and initially expected a group of five, but it ended up being just two couples. The condo was perfect for our group! The parking was clearly marked, and we had the place to ourselves. It was easy to access, and we even tried out the elevator. At first, we weren’t sure which building was ours since there are several nearby, but once we got our bearings, everything was smooth. The location truly can’t be beat — we were able to walk to almost everything! The views are absolutely stunning. I only wish we had better weather so we could have spent more time outside enjoying them. The condo itself was clean and comfortable, with just the right amount of space for the four of us. Having two bathrooms, a cozy living area, and separated sleeping spaces made our stay really comfortable. We’d love the chance to stay here again in the future!

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Daphne & Will's gorgeous home. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement – their space was filled with tasteful decorations, thoughtful touches, and high-quality finishes and furnishings. There was no way we could use every amenity available on a short 3-day stay, but that's all the more reason to come back and enjoy the space again sometime in the future. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, view of the trees and lake, and comfy sofa – perfect for a relaxing trip. Will and Daphne struck the perfect balance of responsiveness, giving space, and friendliness. Airbnb perfection.

My husband and I booked a stay for our anniversary and loved everything about this place. We walked into town everyday, ate at Short’s, grabbed treats from Ruthann’s bakery, and had breakfast at the lunch box. The cold plunge, sauna, and hot tubs were all incredible. We took a short drive to torch lake and enjoyed dinner at the Torch Lake cafe, and a sunset on a beach on Grand Traverse Bay. We ended our weekend with one last trip to the sauna and cold plunge before heading home and left feeling so relaxed and refreshed. We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful peaceful place , private and easy to find , clean, neat . I loved it only suggestions is bring spray for the nats inside they were annoying it was better sitting outside no bug problems. Lol 😆 🤣

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Directly on the lake with an area for our kids to play, a dock to enjoy and an awesome porch and outdoor firepit. The house was very clean and had all cookware and basic items we needed. Great place for fun with the family or just go relax and unwind.

This is an amazing property with a remarkable view over the lake. It is a very tranquil location and it is easy to feel close to nature. The cabin is very well appointed and was perfect! The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall a five star property and experience. Highly recommended!
