This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Breakfast cereals provided . You will love it. A pleasant garden and views top it all off....while being handy to town.

The Moorings

The Moorings is a special place for those wanting to spend time in Oamaru. You will never tire of the outlook over the sea and harbour. The home itself is immaculate and stylishly renovated. The beds and linen are of especially good quality. The home is close to the Penguin Colony, the old part of town and Scott's Brewery if you need a beer or a pizza. We are sorry but the house is not child friendly so we are not able to take bookings with children.

Really easy, carefree break away. Excellent communication, super clean hotel like experience. Not the warmth of a home but perfectly suited for hotel like experience. We even left our sons snuggley toy and it’s already sorted to be couriered home tomorrow! Highly recommend, perfectly suited to our needs. This place is an absolute gem! We don't often get away due to whats involved with dogs/child etc etc. This place.... was perfection. A great bolt hole from busy life where you can unwind, listen to the waves and just chill. Could not recommend more highly!

Very nice accommodation overall. Bach was stocked with all essential items like coffee tea and various other things. Host set up the fireplace for us which was appreciated as we did not have a good knowledge on how to do this. House is very warm too. Overall a great stay. Thanks Tiffany
