Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Kaipara District

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Lisa and Anthony. They are very welcoming and their place has a great, homely feel. The surrounding nature is very relaxing and is close to Waipu. Mangawhai is a short 15 minute drive. The accommodation was also well priced. We would recommend staying here if you are looking for that traditional homestead feel with welcoming hosts.

The room was set up beautifully. Bed was comfertable & house was well presented. Tracey is a great host, accommodated to our requests, communicated well & gave good tips about the local beaches.

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at this property. I wish we were there for more than one night! The hosts were so friendly and we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and comfort of our cottage. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt right at home. The views, especially from the shared pool and spa area are unbeatable. We also loved feeding the sheep who live on the property! I highly recommend booking as it was one of the highlights of our 3-weeks in New Zealand.

A beautiful home set in the most gorgeous, peaceful location. We requested to book very last minute which Lisa kindly accepted so that we could have a night of luxury before our flight home. Lisa & Anthony were both so friendly and hospitable. Our suite was immaculate, amazing soft sheets and a big bath. The breakfast was so thoughtful with homemade marmalade, fresh fruit, muesli and croissants. We loved being able to chat to other guests with a glass of wine and getting to know our hosts. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back.

Allan was a fantastic host who made us feel very at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast and fire that he prepared for us were extra nice and he was there to answer every single question that we had. The place was also very comfortable and close to the beach, and we were very satisfied with everything. Great experience!

Great location for visiting the museum and surrounding area. Backyard was delightful for late afternoon tea. The furnishings take you back in time, and the bed made for a super good nights sleep. Deb is great and left so many thoughtful touches in her space. Thanks for sharing.

Robyn is very responsive and very nice to us. The house is garden-like and the rooms are all so so clean and neat. There's also a black kitty staying with us, he's quiet and so so cute. I really enjoyed living here. Robyn also provided us some helpful recommendations during our trip. Airbnb only got 5-star limit, excepted that, I'll absolutely give 10 out of 5 🤩. Hope everyone who's still hesitating would definitely click yes for staying here!

The house directly feels like home and has a great kitchen that you can use for cooking in the evening. Breakfast is included and includes both bread with spreads, as well as yoghurt, granola, cookies, fresh fruits, coffee and tea. Victoria was very responsive and nice.
