Born and raised on the Big Island, I grew up on my family’s farm, where I developed a deep connection to sustainable farming and eating fresh, local ingredients from an early age. For over 20 years, I’ve been crafting island farm-to-table cuisine up and down the famous Kohala Coast. During that time, I’ve chef-owned the renowned Sushi Rock restaurant, served as executive chef of a four-star hotel, and crafted personalized dining experiences in people’s homes and vacation rentals. My passion lies in blending Hawai'i’s bounty with global flavors, creating a uniquely Big Island dining experience with a direct connection to its source. I did a Neo-Polynesian pop-up restaurant tour in multiple locations around the Bay Area in 2014. I received culinary training at New England Culinary Institute.
