This is an inn that is full of such feelings. From the 6 tatami-mat bedroom and 13 tatami-mat living room, you can enjoy the most luxurious panoramic views of Amami's sky and sea. Winner of the 2024 IDA Design award and the 2025 NY Architectural Design Award, the Nest was designed by architect Tsukasa Ono using only local materials. It sits on six acres of wild forest and garden, and is a sublime base to explore Yakushima. We are walking distance to a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, a ten minute drive to world-famous Hirauchi Kaichu onsen, and a twenty minute walk to Onoiada Onsen.
