Little Red Riding Hood's House - hidden in the deep, quiet forest
Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Primitive Wooden Cabin located in the forest. Close to Bredeådal (natura 2000) with fine hiking and fishing opportunities. Draved old-growth forest and Rømø/Wadden Sea (UNESCO) are also within reach by car. There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. The cottage is 500 meters from the farm (access by car) where you can use your private bathroom, toilet. incl. firewood/charcoal.

This beautiful, thatched house is completely undisturbed in the shelter behind the dune right out to the North Sea and has a wonderful view of the valley and its rich wildlife. Here is a very special atmosphere and the house is beautiful whether you want to have fun with family and friends, come to enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful landscape or want to sit focused on some work. There is always shelter right around the house, where the sun is from when it rises until the evening falls. You can go down to bathe in a few minutes.

You can make your own breakfast in the small kitchenette with 2 hotplates and kitchen utensils, or you can order breakfast from us (for an extra fee) Enjoy the sunrise with steaming hot coffee at the sight of thousands of migratory birds at the Tipperne bird sanctuary. No kitchen, but a fridge/freezer, plates, microwave, toaster, coffee/teaboiler and BBQ grill (outside). Small table and 2 chairs + one extra comfortable chair. Terrace with grill is avalible just outside the door. Pets are Welcome. There is free parking in the driveway at the adress. Bikes kan be parked at covered terrasse. 5 minutes walking distance from lake park and city centre.

The house - which is year-round insulated is located on a large 3000 m2 of undisturbed land with views of large protected natural areas.
