Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large slope plot on the shores of the pristine Lake Storträsk. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

The courtyard of the country house is idyllic. On the covered terrace, you can have breakfast in peace and in rainy weather and well into the autumn you can sit and enjoy the surrounding countryside. This unique cabin is lodged in the Finnish forest with breathtaking views of pristine nature. From the comfort of your bed you can observe the Finnish wildlife including foxes, deers and abundance of birds. The cabin is located on a steep hill and in the bottom of the creek meanders a small river surrounded by dense vegetation. The cabin is designed by interior architect Heidi Taskinen and the interior draws inspiration from the surrounding nature and Scandinavian minimalism.

During cristmas times we welcome businesses to have their small Christmas party at Villa Muurla.

The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.
