My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely apartment in Lourdes, and I just have to say—it was one of the nicest Airbnb experiences we’ve had in quite some time. The location was absolutely perfect. We were just a short walk from the Sanctuary and all the main sites, but still tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet in the evenings. The apartment itself felt very new and modern, which we really appreciated. Everything was spotless and well cared for, and it had all the little things that make a stay more comfortable—plenty of towels, kitchen essentials, and even a few thoughtful touches that made us feel very welcome. Our host was incredibly accommodating and kind. She made check-in easy, gave us great local tips, and was always just a message away if we needed anything. It made a big difference knowing we had someone we could count on while we were far from home. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to Lourdes.

The house is wonderful, we felt very comfortable as a family of five and can fully recommend it! We particularly liked a hike on the GR10 at Lac de Gaube to the above gite Oulettes (Attention: it takes significantly longer than 1h45 from Lac de Gaube!). Very nice was also the bird show at the Donjon des aigles in Beaucens and the (Art Nouveau)spa town of Baigneres-de-Bigorre is also worthwhile, especially on Saturday, there is market day.

We had a great weekend in Visker with friends. The accommodation, a superb renovated barn in stone and wood that perfectly combines authentic charm and modern comfort. The environment is peaceful, with a magnificent view of the mountains, a true haven of peace, ideal for recharging your batteries. A big thank you to Véronique, an exemplary host: ultra responsive, warm and very communicative, she made our stay smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
