Within walking distance (about 600 m) is the river Le Gartempe, where there are plenty of places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also indulge. For the mountain biker (possibly available), touring cyclist and recreational cyclist, there are countless possibilities through the woods, along the river or through the countryside. For the hikers among us, the possibilities are endless. For the horseback riders, there is a riding school a few kilometers away. Lovely first floor apartment. Fully equipped with large private courtyard and free onsite parking. Situated in a quiet street which is a stones throw from a lovely french village. There is a choice of bars & restaurants. A selection of shops including a small supermarket, 2 boulangeries, butchers, florist and pharmacy. A beautiful lake with a small beach only a short walk away. It offers numerous activities including picturesque walks, fishing and during summer, aqua sports & bar/restaurant.

Chaillac Self contained Studio

The studio is five minutes walk to the centre of Chaillac, with its bars, restaurants and supermarket. Walk the other way and you are at the lake, with its beach and picnic areas. Free parking. The studio has a private entrance, and is up one flight of stairs. We provide a double bed, and a sofa bed, kitchen, dining lounge area and a separate shower room. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, two ring hob and kettle. The television has French channels, but has hdmi and USB ports.

The Studio, a calm space, in a very tranquil location, to spend a few days, or break up a long journey. It is hidden away in our peaceful smallholding in Central France, and yet just 20 minutes from the A20. Close to villages and small towns where you can find Boulangerie's, shops and restaurants. The Studio sleeps 2, but a travel cot (and bedding) for babies can be provided (please message to check for availability, as we have one travel cot between two listings)

Montfolles, rural enjoyment of the Limousin

In our beautiful house, Montfolles, you can relax wonderfully. The house is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. A beautiful private garden where you can enjoy the views. In the village, 200m away, there is a nice restaurant. For cycling and hiking, it is a true El Dorado. Large stores 10 km away. Swimming water 2 km away. The house has 4 bedrooms, 7 beds maximum. Two toilets and two bathrooms. Luxury breakfast is available for 7.5 euros pp.

The cottage overlooks and accesses the river, where swimming is possible. The hamlet is very peaceful, and the water is a great place to relax! A walk can be enjoyed from the cottage, along a path along the Vienne River. You can reach Chauvigny on foot or by bike along the trails. There are a few chickens on the grounds.
