In this place you live on the top of the orchard on the yard of Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of the fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning bath. You will experience life on the village with grazing animals and work going on during the season. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. Here you have many hiking opportunities if you like to walk in the mountains. Klovane, Kjenuken/Høgenibba and Kattanakken are among the many popular top hikes in the area. 15 min drive to Briksdal glacier one way and 15 min drive to Loen and Hoven the other way. 30 min to Stryn.
