This house in Scranton is wonderful! The property (both house and yard) is kept up very nicely and is great for a getaway. It's a beautiful Lake view! We loved the serenity here, and saw hummingbirds in the feeders while sitting on the deck... and never saw bugs or spiders despite it being on a wooded lot. It has an awesome grill for outside cooking, a fully equipped kitchen, a fire pit for an evening bonfire, kayaks, ping pong table, and other games to use. It also has a safe room in the event of inclement weather. We will definitely be telling family & friends about this place to rent while traveling in Arkansas off Hwy 40, and/or to detour there for a get-a-way!

This house was such a great place to stay for me and my friends. We had 11 folks and there was plenty of room for everyone. The backyard porch and hot tub were amazing amenities to have, and watching sunset go behind the lake was a great way to finish the day. It's central to a lot of great nature to explore: Petit Jean, Buffalo River, Hot Springs, etc. I can't overstate how much we enjoyed staying here.

We took our children and grandchildren on this vacation. All 10 of us stayed here comfortably. Our grandchildren had a blast outside and inside. We visited several state parks close by, hiked, and spent one day chasing waterfalls in the mountains. We made many memories with our little family of 10. Our host family was very responsive to all my questions while I was planning our activities, which help greatly.
