The house was beautiful and within walking distance from some great restaurants. I had a great time staying there with my family.

Outstanding stay!! We booked Oscar’s place for our retreat after we hiked Acatenango. The garden and running fountain were so tranquil! The flowers and plants in the garden are stunning. There is AC in all bedrooms, but we didn’t need it, since it was cool outside. There is also a washer & dryer with some detergent! That was a godsend after our hike! The beds upstairs were very comfortable! Plenty of filtered water at the home and everything you need to host many people! We were a group of 4 people and loved all the common areas to hang out in. There is an excellent taco spot about 5 mins away and plenty of restaurants very close! The home is extremely private with a beautiful entrance! Oscar was super flexible with our check-in as it changed several times coming down from the volcano. We already have plans to come back and bring more family! Don’t hesitate to book Oscar’s place, it’s amazing!

The home was very specious 🤗 not what I was expecting compared to other Airbnb’s that we had been staying at locally. We were a family of 6 and it was perfect! We did not feel crowded! Velvet was VERY flexible with our check in and communicated with us very efficiently. The home is very close to the Arco de Santa Catalina, Mercado Artesanal, Choco Museo, and many more areas.

The location was very peaceful, but very close walking to amazing restaurants, coffee shops and just a couple of blocks to the hub of Antigua. The roof deck had incredible views of the volcanoes.

I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone! It was like a home away from home with everything I needed for my stay. The host was amazing and incredibly accommodating. I was worried about having no ac but the location does not need it. There is always a fresh breeze and it was never to cold or to hot. I loved the decor so much I bought myself similar items at a local shop. This is a great distance from the center of Antigua if you plan of visiting but would like a little privacy. We even because familiar with a local restaurant with a great family that runs it. If you turn right out the main gate and walk down a little bit it is on your right. The decor is super cute and the food is amazing!! If you are looking for a place this is it!

It was such a lovely weekend—pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful the place is. So relaxing and peaceful; the view was amazing. Being able to lie down on the grass was great. Rosario was super responsive and helpful, and her dad was very polite and kind. I’ll definitely come back!

The area where the house is located is excellent. Close to La Antigua and a few minutes from very good restaurants.

Very comfortable and spotless accommodation. I was already 2 times and we always felt right at home.

I loved the fully equipped kitchen, the apartment was bigger than expected. The only issue is the noise, you can hear from other apartments or outside. But its totally worth it, it was great!

At the last minute, we took a trip to Antigua and I found this place on the way. I immediately received instructions on how to get there and check in. He also sent me recommendations for very good and nearby restaurants. The condominium is very safe and private. I didn't have time to enjoy the facilities there, but the house was very comfortable and exactly as it looks in the photos. I definitely recommend the place and if I return to the area I would like to stay here again.

Had a great experience at Casa Monarca, only wish we could’ve stayed longer to take advantage of everything. Beautiful outdoor kitchen, pool and yard. Kids loved the playground and trampoline. Rooms were well equipped and clean, hosts were very quick to respond and helpful on coordinating transportation. Not necessarily a negative but worth noting, the house is at the top of a steep hill and uber drivers are not allowed to enter. A bit challenging for the older and very young members of our group, it does lead to a great view though, so a good sacrifice for those fit enough to manage the walk. Bedrooms are not attached to the living space, two are attached but have separate locks and the third is around the corner a few hundred feet away. Ideal for couples traveling together but slightly less ideal for those with young children that need to be within earshot. Additional bonus is that the space felt very safe, peaceful and quiet while only a short walk or uber ride to busier areas.

Very nice housing, the residential area is very quiet. if you want a space to disconnect 100% from cities and traffic noises that place is indicated, also has an incredible view of the water volcano. the host was very kind with the times and directions of the place.

Loved the place felt at home and felt safe talked to some of the neighbors close to Antigua and uber didn’t charge much will come back next time I visit Guatemala

Excellent process, from booking to delivery. The house is very nice and the service is impeccable.

Unfortunately my trip had to be cut short so I only stayed 1 night. But I absolutely loved it and nearly wanted to cry leaving LOL Diana was VERY sweet and responsive. English speaking as well! She showed me around, gave me great recommendations and tips as a first time traveler. She not only set up the hot tub for me before I even walked through the door, it was my birthday and she surprised me with a little treat!!! She’s great, The community is also gated which is great so you can feel safe. I will definitely come again! 10 STARS if I could!
