This beautiful place gave us exactly the getaway experience we were looking for! It was an easy and pleasant walk to Mass MOCA and to several great cafes, bars, and restaurants. Mátti was so responsive and warm, even making the place available for early check-in at late notice and offering us an umbrella for the rain! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Stone Schoolhouse was an awesome place to stay. The classroom was fascinating and very cool. Rich and Cheryl were very friendly and helpful. One downside was that the primary bedroom and the bathroom were on different levels, but everything else was so great that this seemed like a minor inconvenience and the overall experience of staying there was still great. We stayed at the schoolhouse in February during a deep freeze and found the heat to be sufficient and in general that it was a good place to be in the winter.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the NY mountain woods and love the rustic brewery experience, this is an awesome place to stay! We enjoyed driving the mountain roads by day, exploring neighboring towns (especially getting a mineral spring spa bath and filling a few gallon jugs at the Saratoga Spa State Park with the State Seal mineral water). By night we enjoyed the various beer offerings of Jon the Beer Diviner in the brewery, especially liked the Stout and the Scotch Ale (Glen was right : ) Saturday night we loved the live music and delicious pizza too. Great fire pits on the deck which we enjoyed mostly on our last night all by ourselves after everyone left. Peaceful, eclectic place and exceptionally nice folks, Cindy and Jon! Got some great ideas from the local patrons, Cohoes Falls for one! And even though the weekend was rainy and it snowed as we were leaving, we thoroughly enjoyed this off the beaten path gem in the woods and you will too! We will def be back <3

Melissa was a fantastic host. She was flexible on check-in and check-out and very generously lent us her snow brush to clean off our car after an unexpected and beautiful snowfall overnight. The area was exactly the peaceful, nature-filled escape we had hoped for. 10/10 would come back and stay here again - we were sad to hear we'd be one of the last stays.

Linnea’s place is beautifully decorated and cozy. She had all the things we could need including cooking our meals. Our plans didn’t work out last minute due to the weather but we had things to do nearby. Her place is walking distance from Shire bru haus and a couple smaller places but all other amenities are not too far of a drive itself. We would stay here again for a staycation or to explore the Berkshires during a nicer season/weather.

I was traveling alone and I needed a place near Williams College. Dave & Ashley's was plenty of room for me (and would be fine for a couple). I liked the decorative lights in the back yard tree. Nice touch. Getting to campus was easy. But the bonus was driving the other way on their quaint country road... waving at the cows and alpaca... and finding the Appalachian Trail in about 5 minutes. Berkshires for the win.

This is a beautiful spot - a working farm with goats, chickens, and horse nearby but still a very quiet apartment. All amenities were perfect and our host was lovely - all in all, a wonderful stay!

My stay was smooth and the condo was nice. I was on a business trip so I didn't have much time in the room besides sleeping which was quiet

The Granary was a truly lovely place to stay. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm and inviting, and we really appreciated how uncluttered and spacious it was. The bed was exceptionally comfortable – we slept so well! My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of light-blocking blinds in the bedroom, as the early sunrises did make it a little difficult for me to sleep in. However, this was a minor point in an otherwise fantastic experience. The gas stove and well-equipped kitchen made cooking dinner a breeze, and the location was absolutely perfect. We loved having such easy access to beautiful trails and hiking spots, and the charming restaurants in Lenox were just a short drive away. For anyone planning to visit Tanglewood or Kripalu, The Granary would be an ideal base. We also enjoyed having the pull-out sofa for a cozy movie night in, and the skylight in the living room added a wonderful touch, especially in the evenings. We definitely recommend!
