'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

Hanok Stay “Hwaeng (Flower Response)”

Hwaeng is located in the middle of Jeonju, in Taepyeong-dong, Wansan-gu. Taepyeong-dong was the center of transportation and commercial district with the first Jeonju Station and Yeoncho Manufacturing Building in the past, and it was built in 1969 with 50m2 in the residential alley, a village of merchants, utilizing the flood and geography at that time. Nowadays, the buildings of the past are disappearing and apartments and modern buildings are being built, but Hwaeng () was designed as a private stay for reflection as it was at that time. The name "Hwa-yeong" was created by comparing the flower that lives between the asphalt and concrete buildings to a flower blooming in the asphalt. In order to embody the flower that runs through Hwaeng, it is expressed concisely and clearly without losing the balance of yin and yang, and the beauty of symmetry and modernity, based on the materials that embodied the image of the Korean flower in the past. A flower in the city center, it responds with that flower.

We dreamed of 'living our daily life like a trip' in a space full of our own taste, away from the apartment, and fixed the hanok. We wanted to balance the familiarity of everyday life with the novelty of travel. Please take the time to feel the warmth and freshness in the combination of modern furniture that has been completed in the rafters of the hanok, which has been piled up over the years. You can sit on the floor or sofa and enjoy tea while listening to music. Enjoy a warm tea and reflection while touching the carefully crafted furniture. The old lighthouse stairs from the Czech Republic retain their unique beauty, and as we climb them, we feel like we are traveling through the past and present at the same time. In addition, the harmony of the wooden pillars unique to hanok and the extremely Korean landscape that blends with the floorboard holds a deeper story as time passes. [Naseojin Hanok] In February 2022, we added a new jacuzzi to our Naesejin Hanok. We prepared it so that you can feel the open-air bath, and added a hot water maintenance device so that you can use the bath without being cold even in the middle of winter. The exterior looks like an old country house, but the interior is designed to avoid any inconvenience. It is a space that can only be used by one team of guests who have made a reservation, and it is a space where you can take a short break and go, so I think it would be nice to come. Nearby, Songhyunbul Meat, which appeared in the Three Heavenly Kings, is a 3-minute drive away, and There are downtown and Gomtang Street, so there will be no big inconvenience when you eat or shop. Things to note * This is a space that I share with my children. Therefore, please do not smoke in any space other than our accommodation.
