Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Jefferson County

The property was just as described. Super clean, comfy linens and nice fluffy towels. Super spacious and full kitchen. Ice cold air conditioning and oh my goodness… so quiet!! Sat out in the evening and watched the birds and wildlife. I can finally say I now know what is on the other side of that 8 mile fence! I enjoyed checking out some of the old military buildings. Just an FYI… the road back to the property is blacktop and then changes to gravel (short gravel section has some pretty rough pot holes).

I think this is our fourth stay at Linda’s listing. It is spacious, very well equipped and in a terrific walkable location to enjoy the fabulous little town of Madison, IN. A great value in a great place.

Marcy's place was the perfect location for a girl's weekend trip. We were able to park our car and then walk everywhere the rest of our stay. Easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants on main street in Madison. We enjoyed sitting on the covered back patio as well. Would definitely stay here again. It's a beautiful place that was very clean and comfortable.

The little pink house was an incredible place to stay. The cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Location was incredible to downtown and the river. Ashton and Addison went above and beyond when I asked for their help on a birthday surprise upon arrival. Great host and great spot. If I come back to Madison this is where I’ll be staying.

We had a wonderful stay at Jordan’s place! The house was incredible—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We especially loved the beautiful view overlooking a pond and horse pastures—it was so peaceful and relaxing. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to Hanover College, which made attending graduation weekend smooth and stress-free. Jordan was a great host, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The Airbnb was clean and well stocked with everything you may need. Korey was very quick to respond and was professional and courteous in his responses. A few things to note is that our space smelled like cigarettes which probably was due to a past guest, the lawn desperately needs care done to it and that the house is located near some run down trailers. Despite those things we would gladly stay here again due to it being dog friendly, clean and located close to town. Korey even had doggie bags, treats and bowls for use. Coffee and creamer was provided.

The area was amazing with shops, restaurants & museums. Short drive to downtown. The walks along the Ohio River were amazing! Would stay here again if coming to Madison! 😊

This place actually made me wonder if I could downsize enough. perfect for our anniversary overnight. Cozy, comfortable and close enough to walk.

10/10. Such a beautiful space!! Easy to park and get inside. The bed, pillows, and blankets were incredibly comfortable. Shower was very spacious and modern. Couch was comfy with a huge TV. Right near the downtown shops so incredibly walkable and a very safe area :) I spent the night here with my mom for my best friend’s wedding and it was just perfect for us! Madison, IN is such a cute town and their famous art festival was happening the same weekend so we raved about this Airbnb to everyone we met telling them to stay here the next time they come in town for the art festival!

Stayed 3 nights at River's Edge and wish it would've been 3 weeks. Everything was wonderful - the walk-ability, view, cleanliness, entertainment options, comfort, etc. Madison was a delightful surprise all the way around. Angie's suggestions of what to do and where to eat were also too notch! Couldn't have asked for a better trip and can't wait to be back! The upstairs apartment does connect to the downstairs with an open staircase. There was a family staying downstairs when we were, which wasn't an issue in the slightest - I just didn't quite realize how connected the two were before checking in. We kept the box fans on that were provided in the unit and doors shut to maintain some privacy!

This location is very close to downtown but you feel like your way out in the country.

Very nice and clean. We only stayed 1 night so we didn’t need to use the kitchenette, but it seemed well stocked. Walking distance from several shops and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Great place will be back

Our stay at Ron and Suzie's Livery Loft was exceptional. Certainly one of the top rentals we have ever had. The theme and decor was perfect for a Livery Loft concept, with top quality furnishings and just an overall outstanding atmosphere. We have never had a rental with so many amenities, fine touches, and hospitable personal service. On top of that, the location was walkable to downtown shopping and restaurants. Madison has really come along as a destination! We just really can't say enough positives, and there are literally no constructive improvement comments that we could think of. Certainly an awesome experience and can't wait to stay in Ron and Suzie's place again!

Kyle’s place was perfect for our stay in Kentucky. He was quick to communicate and really helpful!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy to get to, nice little balcony, very clean, uncluttered. Bed was comfortable and there were extra linens. In fact, we are hoping to stay again this summer. This was our second time staying here, probably not the last. It is very clean, quiet and well equipped where I do not have to bring much with me other than our own bare essentials. There is plenty of open area in the apartment for us to have some personal space for the weekend and not be in a small hotel room. We walked into town for dinner, shopping and even stumbled on the train museum which was a great way to spend some down time. You might even see the train going through the center of town, but don't worry, you won't hear it when you are relaxing at the apartment. Overall a great experience, looking forward to coming back next year.

Our stay was great! Great location! Great living experience! Great host! The place was very clean and well kept. The rental description was spot on to the actual condo. We would highly recommend staying at this location. Kevin was easy to work with and very easy going. Thanks again Kevin!
