Family-friendly holiday rentals in Järvenpää

Modern style home in a beautiful and peaceful location. Great design elements including furniture and floor to ceiling windows. We loved relaxing with the tranquil views and enjoyed time on the lovely covered deck area. It was wonderful to eat outside even when occasionally drizzling and not worry about getting wet. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We were able to buy all of the food we needed at the tiny market a couple of blocks from the home.

Third visit to this cabin already. It has been great each and every time!

Very nice house, which is perhaps even better live than in the pics. In addition, Jari is a very polite and friendly host. The entire group of ours was very pleased with everything. I can warmly recommend the house and the host!

I travel extensively and this was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Apartment is better than the photos and Pihla is excellent at responding.

Oula’s place was just right for our requirements. As a party of four all requiring separate rooms, it fitted us perfectly. Lovely peaceful surroundings and a short drive from the centre of Helsinki. The place is stunning with lots of things to do inside. The BBQ was a great touch and the sauna and jacuzzi worked great. Our first impressions of Finland were made greater by staying here!

Our stay with Marju and her husband went wonderfully well. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the very kind Marju who cared about our well-being. The accommodation is impeccable and is even better than in the description and the place is beautiful and magical. In the heart of a large forest area, we feel in communion with nature and animals. The accommodation is secluded in the forest and we are very quiet. We loved spending time in this accommodation and we enjoyed the exchanges with Marju and her husband who are two lovely people. The sauna and the wood-fired kitchen (bbq available) (an axe to cut wood is even available if you want to bring out your lumberjack soul) immerse you in an atmosphere of adventure that we really enjoyed. If we try a little, we can cook. A fridge is available I hope to come back one day!!! 🫶

Our stay by the sea at Johanna’s place was just what our family (4 adults and two teens) needed for our first week in Finland. We enjoyed sauna each evening and beautiful scenery and sunsets. The swimming was wonderful and as it was August, we swam with the jelly fish ( a first for us)! Johanna is an excellent host, very communicative and helpful. I recommend you bring sweaters and warm socks for the evenings. Know that it’s a good drive from the city if you plan to do much exploring, but it’s worth the experience. Magic in the woods it was! Great location and wonderful accommodation. Our large family felt right at home and very comfortable. Close to all the places that most would love to visit. Would stay here again before searching for anything else!

I highly recommend this place! We stayed with 4 Adults and one baby, we spent time there like a real home. They offered not only a cod, but also high chair and lots of toys, which my son really enjoyed. Anastasia is very nice person. She welcomed us warmly, and she always responded our message very quickly when we had a question. She made our first vacation in Helsinki unforgettable :)

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. It is in a good location and the owner was always very helpful and everything went without a problem. Everything we needed was available and it was hassle free.

We found this house perfect for a "workation", as we enjoyed the beautiful lake and the garden, as well as the living room for working from our laptops. There's an amazing amount of natural light, the house has warm colors, and nice plants. We recommend trying the boat, it's very fun.

I enjoyed my 6 night stay here and loved the location of the apartment. It was mostly organized and clean, but the apartment definitely feels lived in. The printed house manual is very outdated and it didn't seem to have many extra towels, linens, etc. In reading the listing description, I had also expected a different kind of communication. I booked the apartment 4 months in advance and never heard from the hosts - just their co-host that was super responsive. I also couldn't find the dryer so I didn't end up doing laundry. Overall, I would recommend.

Even more beautiful than the pictures. My family loved the stay. Good place for the kids, grandparents and us parents.

Iiris and Josh’s place was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip. We were traveling with a young toddler, and our hosts provided essentials as well as some thoughtful toys for her. We enjoyed walking around the city during our stay, but it is also fast and easy to get around using the tram stops nearby. Iiris and Josh were very responsive to messages in the app, and everything we needed to know was covered in the detailed house manual.

Everything is as promised in the listing. I have stayed at several other properties in the area in more recently built apartments; compared with them, I found the ambience of this building from the 1800s worth experiencing (since it is renovated to include all modern conveniences). It also stayed a bit cooler in the summer heat and was more spacious.

Perfect sized villa for two and the pool + wood heated sauna aced the whole thing. Absolutely worth a stay!

Apartment is very individually furnished. Nice contact with Antti, who also picked us up from the ferry. The area in which the apartment is located is very accessible by tram from the center.

Great house for families with wonderful pool and sauna. Safe and beautiful environment with playground and beach nearby. Shops also accessible. Great vibe sitting outside on the patio in the evenings. Could easily stay another week here!

If you want a traditional cabin in the woods with mod cons then this is the place for you. The cabin is ideally located to explore all of Southern Finland, and when you're done for the day the supermarket is either on your way back or a 5 minute detour. The location is quiet and peaceful. We were lucky with the weather so were able to sit out most evenings with a glass of wine and enjoy the serenity. The cabin has everything you need, and the bathrooms have been well thought through. Matti offers use of the Hot Tub, and Boat for a small fee, and the first pack of logs fort the sauna or wood stove are included. The lake is literally 50m from the door, but you are far enough away that the Mosquitoes aren't a problem. Although we don't have children the extra touches for children are great.

Great surroundings and a peaceful cottage. Rarely atmospheric hut :)
