Holiday rentals with breakfast in Isle of Portland

Our stay at Angus’ place was wonderful. Despite the storm, we felt cosy and comfortable in the space and it was perfect to retreat back to after a long walk. Angus and Libby were very kind and helped us check in so we felt right at home.

This house provided the perfect base for our trip. It's full of character and offers plenty of space to relax. What truly stood out was the unbeatable location – everything we wanted to see and do was within easy reach, and the vibrant atmosphere of nearby restaurants and bars was a real treat. The dartboard was a fun extra touch! The host was also exceptional, always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We had a fantastic stay!

Had a lovely stay, close enough to all the action but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet, waking to the birds tweeting. Sharon was the perfect host, responsive and helpful. Including little touches like access to some breakfast bits. Everything you need in a quiet, quirky, and well looked after home… 5 Stars 🌟

We couldn’t have been made more welcome by Patricia to her warm and cosy accommodation. A late arrival from the ferry was no trouble and the provisions left for us were much appreciated. We only stayed one night but felt right at home and would highly recommend it.

This was easily the best Airbnb experience we've ever had. Harriet and Steve were just wonderful, warm and supporting. They were so great with our dog (who wouldn't want to leave on our last day) , left loads of goodies for us in the annex including fresh farm eggs from a neighbouring farm and even invited us to use their garden for breakfast. On our last night, we sat at the fire together, just chatting and enjoying each other's company. I couldn't recommend the place more highly - they were the most proactive in anticipating our needs and ridiculously generous. We will definitely be back!

Wow! What can I say!!! Let’s start with my dad always has a negative thing to say and he LOVED this place! My kids had their own room and my daughter loved the dining room with the books and the door to make it private! I loved the home aspect of it. We have been traveling now for a few years and this really felt like somewhere we could stay for more than a week. The eggs bread milk and cider where such a bonus that made our arrival less stressful as we have a toddler. I saw the baby gates and baby items. Such a pro if traveling with littles. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and game room. My daughter and dad woke up early just to play ping-pong before we left. Thank you again Mary & Sophie. Next time we come to England we will be coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wat een fantastisch huis! Zelden zo compleet en geweldig ingericht aangetroffen op een vakantie. Het mooiste huis van de straat ( de straat is wel aan grondige renovatie toe). Superdicht bij het strand en de stad, alles op loopafstand. Wij hebben genoten!

A comfy studio with everything we needed for our short break. A good location to explore Poole and the surrounding areas. The nearby Secret Garden path was a peaceful place to walk the dogs first thing, plus it was also a good way to get to Poole Park. The homemade jam with the cream tea was a highlight! Barrie was great at communicating too.

The perfect location to enjoy time with the family and beautiful surroundings nearby. Jason was the perfect host and made us all feel very welcome upon arrival. Would definitely recommend it to everyone for the perfect location to relax and unwind.

Although I agree with some previous comments about some updating being needed it catered for my needs. The bedroom/lounge was comfortable and roomy. The shower had been just redone and well with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking within the pub carpark gave me peace of mind. Overall I had an enjoyable stay a stones throw from the famous Gold Hill. Daniel is a very friendly host and always went the extra mile with any request. Recommended.

Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation within a short walk of the beach, with the added advantage of off road parking. Brian was very friendly and full of helpful suggestions about the local area.

We had a great stay in this apartment - very clean and beautifully decorated and an ideal place to stay with a dog. We loved the sitting area with a smart TV and the fact that we could use the hot tub too. There were little extras like Croissants in the freezer and orange juice in the fridge which were lovely touches. Perfect location too-a 5 minute drive to Lulworth Cove where we walked to Durdle Door. We also visited Corfe Castle and Old Harry Rocks. Already recommended to a friend 😊

So happy I found Jo and her beautiful accommodation. My dog and I felt so welcomed and at home. Just beautiful garden and property. very peaceful surrounds full of birds and nature. We’ll definitely be returning .

Mary’s Annexe was perfect for our brief stay for a local wedding! The place was spotless and had everything we could need. Mary left us thoughtful instructions and was the perfect host! I’d recommend to anyone!

Louis is a top class host , he provides a comfortable , spotlessly clean and efficient place to stay. We liked the fact that we got clear instructions to access the house / room and effective help when we needed it. Thank you again ! Fantastic hosts and fabulous room. The breakfast was a lovely surprise and much appreciated before we headed out to dive for the day. The facilities in the room along with a bowl of snacks was much appreciated and the bathroom was large and well presented.

We really loved staying here - our getaways with a toddler + 2 dogs can be stressful, but this was such a great place to stay that it removed all stress. The location was peaceful and quiet, the village itself was small and walkable for the local pub and playground for our daughter. It was easy to drive to local tourist spots and all the roads were fine. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean and had all we needed. Can’t thank our hosts enough for such a pleasant stay.

I loved staying here. I felt right at home. A lovely place to stay with generous and lovely hosts. Breakfast is particularly good. There is so much to do in the area I could have stayed longer!

Me senti extremamente confortavel en casa. Não nos faltou de nada. O quarto é otimo, grande e muito bem decorado, o que o torna muito agradavel! A casa está super bem localizada a 10 minutos andando até o centro minutos, perto da Praia e a 5 min da Charminster Road. Martín é muito agradável e simpático. Beautiful location, warm welcome. The breakfast was delicious. We also went for the raclette experience in the evening which was a great success (including Joey's tasty dessert). Peter is very attentive, we had everything we needed in thar lovely base to explore the Isle of Purbeck.
