This stylish apartment which is 20km from Entebbe Airport and 18km from Kampala city centre is perfect for a holiday away whilst enjoying all the comforts of home. From either direction, head towards Kampala-Entebbe road until you get to Bwebajja (Akright stage). Turn left if you are coming from Entebbe or turn right if you are coming from Kampala city and head towards Akright city. Exit onto Bugamba rise on your right then take an immediate left onto Markhamia crescent. As a self-catering apartment, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer, and a microwave. The apartment is a perfect place to relax and offers a smart television, internet access, a private balcony, and a sun terrace. This apartment has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4. Queen Elizabeth Gorge Family Cottage

We opted for both the family cottage (equipped with two double beds) and the double cottage and ended up staying for three nights. There is also a lovely wooden house on site, which can accommodate a group of six people. The accommodation was comfortable with a rustic charm, and spectacular views. We enjoyed the hearty local meals and the welcoming communal spaces. Other highlights were the tranquil surroundings, interactions with the team there and other guests, and the chance to experience local community life. Lots of opportunities to tour nearby Queen Elizabeth national park, hike in Kyambura gorge and visit a number of nearby crater lakes and local sights.
