Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

A lovely and cozy house. Everything is well thought out and very convenient (though a coat rack at the entrance would have been helpful, but we managed). It’s great that pets are allowed—we stayed here for New Year’s so our dogs could have a break from fireworks. There really weren’t many fireworks around. Thanks!

We stayed at Rikke and Andreas' place for 1 week. The house is situated in a quiet residential area in Sorø. The location is very central and therefore many things were super accessible. It was superbly equipped. In the kitchen, for example, nothing was missing. There were also a lot of toys available (our son was thrilled) The highlight was of course the heated pool & jacuzzi. Together with a grill and some outdoor toys, the perfect mix for everyone. The beds were also very comfortable. In the master bedroom even with box spring bed and children's room with high bed. Communication was also great. Rikke & Andreas responded very promptly. All in all, we highly recommend the accommodation! We will be happy to come back :)

I definitely recommend this place! Accommodation looked the way it was described, clean and cosy. Location of it - great - close to the airport as well as Copenhagen city centre with easy public transport location. Overall, great experience ☺️

Amazing super clean and beautiful accommodation with everything that could you need🌼🌼Everything was amazing and the location extra convenient close to the centre. The hot tub was the best experience during a cold evening ☺️The host was super kind and responsive. We will definitely come back!

A sweet home with a lovely backyard. The sauna was perfect for rainy days.

We had a lovely stay with our young family. The house is fully equipped with so many toys, high chair, bed, sand box… perfect for families! Also for parents who want to enjoy a sauna or coffee in the sun! The beach is nearby and we had so many places to go for long walks nearby, nice coffees or lunches. Copenhagen is close by and it is easy to go for the day. It felt like the perfect place to have a nice balance between active days and rest.

Ann Charlotte’s place is cosy and in beautiful surroundings in Kikhavn, a lovely village by the sea. We spent a few days here to get away from the city and it was great. I worked remotely and the internet is very fast, no issues there. Ann Charlotte is very friendly and welcoming. While we were staying the heating went out but Ann Charlotte made sure we were comfortable and it didn’t bother us. The house and garden are lovely and quiet too. Highly recommend!

Very nice and peaceful place . Fully equipped house , great location and garden. Perfect for s group of friends or family. The bbq made our stay so much better. The only thing that would make a future stay better is the existence of bedsheets so that we won’t have to bring our own. Other than that the place is totally worth it and fully recommendable. Michael and Ditte have also been very helpful and responsive.

Nina Lisa’s cabin is the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The location is amazing and it’s a very short walk down to the stunning coastline. The cabin itself was super cosy and had everything you need and Nina Lisa as a host was super communicative and responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay :) We would definitely not hesitate to stay there again :)

My best friends and I had a wonderful stay at Trine’s Strandhuset. It was one of the most beautiful vacations we’ve ever had. The house has a soul – it fills you with so much energy and peace. The endless view of the sea and horizon, the sunrise you could watch from bed, and the sound of the waves – it all felt like something out of a romantic movie. We felt like we were in a small, magical world of our own. It could’ve been the Hamptons or the English coast – there was this beautiful sense of being completely in the moment. The interior and comfort of the house only added to the experience. It’s filled with so much love and attention to detail, and you can feel that Trine and her family spend their summers here, giving the house its heart and soul. We’ll definitely be coming back. It’s a magical place I will never forget. Thank you, Trine, for letting us step into this little world of yours.

We had a really wonderful stay at Louise and Anders' summer house. They sent detailed instructions around the house by email, so check-in was super easy. We checked into a clean and heated house and felt very welcome. It's a charming and cozy summerhouse with a good energy and high ceilings, it's just nice to be there! And it seems bigger in real life than it looks in the photos. The last bonus is to walk down to the water in 5 minutes. A huge recommendation from here: -)

We had a great time at Kim’s house. The house is super modern, chic and well equipped. The garden and view are truly amazing. Kim was very nice and helpful with any questions. When looking for a private, calm getaway by the water, we can 100% recommend!

The place was excellent for us as a family with two small children. There is everything you need on site to enjoy your vacation here. The neighbors are extremely friendly. The sea is practically in the garden and is easy to walk on. On the island there is one or the other to discover, there are small restaurants or a zoo and the supermarket on the island has everything you need. A visit to Copenhagen is also easy to do by car. Christian was very friendly and always available and helped very quickly if there were any questions. It is truly a time to enjoy this beautiful place. Especially at the first sunset that you can enjoy on the couch. We would book and recommend this location again at any time.

My boyfriend and I have now spent an extended weekend at Kaja's lovely summerhouse for the second time. Can definitely recommend spending a weekend on scenic Orø, with lots of bird life both in the garden and along the coast and with ample opportunity for fishing. We've at least enjoyed it to the fullest.

The location is a gem and a real treat for your senses.

I was resting and coming down with my daughters at Sofia's place. Exactly that's what we found at her place, a great house with a nice garden. The kitchen for cooking together perfect, supermarkets and an excellent fish land nearby. Beaches for swimming and bicycles for rent are all available. The place is as on the pictures and Sofia is a totally loving host. Rita the kitty is absolutely sweet and easy to maintain, my daughters would have preferred to take you with you. I highly recommend the accommodation, here you can learn what hygge means.

Our family immensely enjoyed our time at Axels cottage. We came from Mexico and found this cottage exactly what we needed to destress and have family down time. Axel was so accommodating, he brought over life vests for the children to use while boating and even brought off a WiFi modem. We highly recommend this location. Pack your bags and prepare to relax with a cup of tea in front of the fire on a rainy day!

We stayed for 6 lovely June summer days and enjoyed the morning and morning sun on the balcony with magnificent views of the fjord with the west coast of North Zealand on the horizon. We went for a morning swim from Nordstrand (10 min by car north) and one day in the fjord at Sandskredet (15 min by car south), where there was less wind. We visited Anneberg Park for 4 days (food market, long table dinner, forest walk and Michelin restaurant Mota). Please note that the home is on three floors with stairs from the kitchen/living room down to the bathroom and up to the bedroom. And that some ceiling beams and the exit door in the bathroom have been lowered. Also, be careful when the car is going out on the road from the parking space next to the home. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed dinner in the evening sun down in the garden chairs right next to the water.

We had some lovely days at Michaela's lovely summerhouse. The house is cozy and has a lovely terrace. Things worked as they should. The house is located on a quiet road a short distance to the water and the beautiful area of Ejby Ådal. Michaela was very welcoming as a host and easy to communicate with. We'd love to come back another time :)
