The Wade Inn Iron River is a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature and be less than a half mile from town! Very peaceful setting on a quiet wooded lot with lots of shade trees and outdoor table and chairs with a Grill!! Iron River is also a great location, close to National Forests, the World famous Brule river, and Lake Superior all within a fifteen minute drive!! Bayfield and the Apostle Islands are also not too much further, and are great easy day trips to enjoy.

Our group of fly fishermen appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the comfortable beds, the water spigot/sprayer to clear gear, room to park vehicles in the driveway, and proximity to our desired rivers and lakes. Jim was a great host who made us feel at home.

Absolutely the most amazing home I’ve stayed in! Set back in the woods so that you feel like you’re on a private island. I loved walking to the lake daily with my dogs and even stopped by a cute fishing museum. The town is adorable. I stayed here twice and hope to return in the future!

The location was perfect for our plans. They left us a small bag of fresh ground coffee, next to the coffee pot, & it was absolutely amazing! We only needed a clean bed and private entrance, & that's exactly what we got! We thought the bed was extremely comfortable, & the sheets were clean and smelled fabulous! It is located in a basement, so I did notice a couple cobwebs in the corners, but overall it's very clean! Also, the shower is not made for tall people, my fiance is 6'4" and had to squat to take a shower. Small complaints, compared to how wonderful everything else was. Shower essentials were provided, including towels. It was quit, comfortable, & private. I would definitely recommend. 10/10.

Camp Firestar was a wonderful place to spend a couple of nights while on our way to the Bayfield Apple Festival. We enjoyed the friendly cat, Sawdust immensely. The only down side was the annoying number of flies, many of which were dead and hadn’t been cleaned up. Overall, the value for the unit was fine.

We loved staying at this cabin! It was extremely thoughtful with all of the amenities, I loved the products, the towels and bedding were pristine- the kitchen was very accommodating with pots, pans, and dishes. The decor was funky , cool and eclectic. The home felt very clean. I didn’t see any dust or hairs. All around great place to stay with our family, you can’t beat the view, spacious cabin and lots of beds. Will be back.
