We had a (too short) very pleasant stay in Pierre's great house. Clear instructions and responsive host. We enjoyed the pool and the exceptional view. To be repeated!

Everything was perfect. Spacious, clean and nice accommodation, with a kitchen that has everything you need to cook. As for the location, the bus stop is 100 meters away and it is also possible to walk to the center of Donostia (45 minutes to the Town Hall). As for the garage, if you have a car larger than a Ssangyong Rodius, it will not fit, but in that case you can use a blue zone parking space that is right in front of the building. Ana sent us the location of the apartment with clear instructions that greatly facilitated our arrival. Ana, thank you for everything.

Perfect country house for our weekend family getaway for a wedding near Tudela. The pool was a luxury with the heat! Several air-conditioned rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and many large spaces to be together! We would definitely repeat! Difficult access to the house's parking, but apart from that, no complaints.

The house is massive with lots of space to ‘live in’. The bedrooms are large and comfortable with well appointed bathrooms.

Everthing was fine. Luisa was really friendly and helpful.

What a fantastic find! A very simple but perfect escape in the countryside, complete with goats, chickens and a few working cats. We spent two lovely weeks in this serene location and didn’t want to leave! Every cell in our bodies was relaxed and recharged. We especially loved the melody of the cow bells as we relaxed in the backyard and the ability to cool off in the lovely dipping pool when the temperatures soared. If you need a complete escape to nature, this is your place! And there are scores of nearby villages and locations to hike and enjoy. We hope to be back again next year—thank you so much for everything!!

We had a pleasant stay, Due to the very high heat we really enjoyed the air conditioning and the pool. Green and very quiet environment, close to Saint Jean. We thank Léa for hosting us and for her kindness.

Both Ana and Isi gave us a very good welcome, they were very kind and approachable. In addition, the house was great in every way. It was a pity not to have been able to enjoy the house more due to lack of time. In conclusion, everything has been great. We'll repeat.

This house is beautiful. It is a gracious, older home with high ceilings, wood floors, and a beautiful staircase. The house was well-furnished with modern pieces accenting the traditional spaces. The whole house felt spacious and airy. The garden is lovely. One of the things not mentioned in the listing is that the back garden gate opens up to a beautiful park overlooking the river. On our first morning, we went out and just started walking. The path leads to a walk that goes around the walls of the old city. It was a slightly rainy day, so the walk was misty and had a romantic feeling. The check-in was also wonderful. The owner’s daughters were there when we arrived. They were, kind, hospitable, and told us all that we needed to know about the house. It was nice to receive a warm welcome. The house is within easy walking distance to the main plaza, the old town, and most of the sites one would want to see. Perfect! Thank you, Ignacio!

We loved the place in Getaria, the house is comfortable and charming, we wanted for nothing. Close enough to beaches, great restaurants and hiking trails. Want to emphasize the wonderful restaurants in Getaria, Zumaia, and of course San Sebastián. Javier the owner was so kind to us, made sure we had what ever we needed/wanted and gave us great advice about everything Basque Country. The view of the sunset was spectacular. Highly recommend this house.

An excellent place to spend a Christmas as a family. A very warm house for winter and cozy. Ideal for going with a pet since the enclosure is vayado.

Eladio was the most responsive host. He gave us clear instructions and was quick to respond to our questions. The apartment was perfect - very clean and we had all the amenities required. The heating and fire place worked perfectly. It was the perfect location for our friends’ reunion (8 of us) with more than enough room for everyone. With 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, everyone was very comfortable! Thanks also to Eladio for the recommendation to Nublo Restaurant - that was absolutely delightful. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Just be aware that the little streets of San Vicente de la Sonsierra are a little difficult to navigate with a big car. But take it slow and you’ll quickly adapt to the manoeuvring of the charming streets. The town itself is completely walkable. Also there are 3 levels in this apartment you’ll need carry your luggage up. 4 bedrooms on 2nd level, penthouse “suite” on top level. We will highly recommend using this place as a base to explore Rioja.

We had a perfect stay - the house was clean, everything was extremely comfortable. Our host was very attentive, quick responses to any questions and provided us with recommendations for the area. The house is in a perfect location, quick walk to the square with local bars and beautiful scenery. We wish we could’ve stayed longer ! The perfect spot for a peaceful break.

Good experience, the place is comfortable and close to Logroño, it has things that can be improved such as some furniture that is somewhat old.

Beautiful home with a vibe. Located in a beautiful area in close proximity to the sea and scenic trails.

Leigham was an excellent host. Very responsive to any and all questions and was able to provide numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. “Number 8” is located in a small, walled, hilltop village with some buildings dating back to the 1100s. It is on a very quiet “street” steps away from the main square, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The apartment is on four floors allowing everybody to have their own space as needed. Three bedrooms with two washrooms … makes life easy, as we were a family of four. You drop your luggage 20 meters from your front door with free parking about 200 mètres away. Located in the heart of the Rioja a wine region, you are never far from some of the best wine in the world . In fact, you can walk to the nearest Bodega right in the village!!! If visiting the Rioja region, I recommend Leigham’s Number 8 as your home base.

Everything was perfect. We were very well taken care of, the accommodation is impeccable and you have Vitoria a few minutes away. 10/10!
