“Great little spot to stay in just outside Inverness. Michael greeted us upon arrival, and was super kind and welcoming!! He even gave us a photographic book on Greece that he curated himself, so kind :) only thing to note is that the cabin isn't insulated, so noise can be heard right outside, and on cold or warm nights the temperature outside is the same inside! Overall great one night we stayed :)”
This newly renovated 1,500 square foot Company House was built during the mining boom in the early 20th Century, by a mining company to house workers. We completely rebuilt this house to modern open concept design with top of the line finishes and unique details. One bedroom is loft style and open concept like the entire home. The second bedroom is closed off with a locking door. Location Location Location you won't find a closer rental to all the action in Inverness.
“This is an amazing spot for people looking to experience Inverness. Incredible location, super clean, tons of space, and close to everything you could need in town! The hosts always reply quickly if you have any questions or concerns. 10/10 would (and have) come back!!”
Laughing Loon cottage is a charming, private 2 bedroom cottage on the shores of Lake Ainslie. Centrally located, you are a short drive to some of the most exciting attractions CapeBreton has to offer.
“This is a lovely cottage on the shore of Lake Ainslie. The area is quiet and the view of the lake from inside the cottage and from the deck is fantastic. There are no nearby neighbours so it is easy to hear the waves, the wind in the leaves, and the singing of the birds. The cottage is well equipped with all you need in the kitchen. The two bedrooms (one small and the other fairly large) are nicely decorated and both beds are very comfortable. Eileen brought extra blankets because the nights had been colder prior to our arrival. The living/dining area is large enough for four people to find plenty of space, there is comfortable (sofa) seating for four, a rocking chair, and a small dining table with four chairs by the picture window. It was not the greatest weather when we were there, but our time spent reading in the cottage was very comfortable. There are also a few board games and a deck of cards available. We loved our stay here, and will definitely consider booking it again on return visits.”
