The host Luis was wonderful and the place was probably the best place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Mozambique! It was very beautiful and spacious, and the AC and hot water were amazing. We had a slight misunderstanding about the price, but Luis was very gracious and helpful and also gave great food recommendations.

This place is absolutely outstanding. If you are looking for a true Oasis outside of the city, though still close enough; than this is your spot. Ancha and her husband Ben build the perfect Oasis for themselves over the years, which they are now sharing with guests. You will have a whole house, with all the amenities you need. A beautiful designed swimmingpool. They will offer you all the privacy you need, but if you need their help; they will help you in anything you need. A stunning Botanical garden is walking distance. The optional diner is also real good!

Natercia was a very proactive and attentive host. I arrived late at night, exhausted after a long bus trip, and with all the shops closed, she kindly offered me some homemade sopa de feijão. On my checkout day, I had another early morning bus trip, and Natercia thoughtfully booked me a taxi with a trusted driver and even woke up early to see me off. The house is very centrally located, with a lovely view of Costa do Sol from the sitting room, something I look forward to enjoying even more next time. The room, bathroom, and kitchen were homely, comfortable, and very clean. I can highly recommend staying here!

Great stay again as always

Great Airbnb however hotel style. Which was appreciate. Host was not that responsive when I asked about early check in options and laundry options. Regardless, it was a budget friendly deal and the room/location was nice.

Our family would like to thank Casa Machaka for the wonderful hospitality shown to us from the start of our stay to the end.We really loved our stay at this beautiful house, our stay really felt like our home away from home. We appreciate and value the staff that worked hard to provide for our needs.We would like to thank our host for the loving understanding and helping us all the time.We loved our stay and we will definitely come back.
