Small cottage in South Harbour, on the Cabot Trail. Small bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Queen mattress is considered"plush". Shops, restaurants, museums, hiking trails, whale tours, other adventures and beaches nearby. Just beside Highlands National Park entrance which is convenient for those who are nature lovers and enjoy hiking trails in the park. It is secluded by trees. ( Cottage is not a good fit for young children, as the utility panels are located in unlocked closets.)

R&D Retreat

This small traditional Acadian-style home is just off the Cabot Trail, and a 5 minute drive to the popular Gypsum Mine. This home is a cozy retreat if you are looking to explore the National Park and its hiking trails, or in the winter, the many snowmobile trails in the Highlands (lots of parking for machines/trailer). You will be a 15 minute walk down the road to the ocean and the Buttereau swimming spot, and the infamous Aucoin's Bakery is just a hop, skip and jump away.
