This is a private rental accommodation located next to the historic site of the former Sanjo residence in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture. The former Sanjo family has prospered in the shipping, silk, and sake industries in Miyazu Castle since the Edo period. It was also the residence of the Edo shogunate patrol officer, and in the Meiji period, it was the residence of Prince Arisugawa Takahito and Prince Komatsu Takahito, and is now designated as an important cultural property by the country. We have rebuilt the annex as an inn, "Miyanaka Kanbei Honten". The name of the house is the same as the sake brewery at the time. The owner carefully selected high-quality flooring and tiles while maintaining the atmosphere of that time, and placed selected sofas, tables, and bar counters in the living room on the ground floor. We have created a space for you to relax and unwind. Please spend your time in a high-quality space while feeling the history and seasonal changes of Miyazu, a port town that has fascinated many people since ancient times. Guests staying at the property will receive a free ticket to the former residence of the Mikami family! You can use it on either your check-in or check-out date. We hope you enjoy the Edo atmosphere. The opening hours of the Former Sanjo Matsuya residence are from 9: 00 to 17: 00. (Admission reception is until 16: 30) Closed during the New Year's holidays (December 29 - January 3).

Ine, a town that lives with the sea Funaya Sakasu, a luxurious renovation of the traditional boat house, is a hideaway for adults who want to spend time listening to the sound of the waves. A space where the charm of a historic boathouse is harmonised with modern comforts, offering a high-quality stay surrounded by tranquility and sea views. From the veranda on the second floor, you can enjoy a fulfilling time overlooking the boathouses and calm sea of Ine Bay. During the day, you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life by spending time surrounded by the calm sea and the colours of the sky, and at night, you can spend time gazing at the starry sky. Enjoy the sea of Ine and the time spent with your loved ones to your heart's content. You can get on the sea taxi around Ine Bay directly from the terrace. Enjoy a unique experience overlooking the boatyard town from the sea. There is also a private sauna for two, where you can refresh your mind and body while looking out at the calm sea. ※ There are attractions such as the installation of a sauna and direct access to the sea from the terrace, but it is very dangerous if you take your eyes off your children. We recommend that only adults stay.

A building where you can stay while feeling the region

A property that had been vacant for about 3 years in the "Kami-Miyazu" area, which boasts countryside scenery and is about a 10-minute drive from the center of Miyazu, was renovated into a private rental accommodation. It is 10 minutes to the sea, 15 minutes to Amanohashidate, and 45 minutes to Ine no Funaya. It is not a particularly beautiful facility, but you can spend a relaxing time unique to the area. Basically, we don't serve food, but if you'd like, you can book a breakfast onigiri set at the nearby onigiri cafe, which is limited to our facility (for a fee) We can also introduce you to local people, BBQ, harvesting experiences, e-bike tours in the area, and more. Please check with me in advanced. BBQ is also available for rent as a set for ¥2,200. (Chairs, stove, charcoal, lighter, from preparation to cleaning up) Food is not included. Please bring your own. We do not allow BBQs outside of rentals. In the garage, in addition to BBQ, you can do bicycle and motorcycle maintenance without getting wet from the rain. You can store it in a locked building, so you can travel around Tango with peace of mind. Parking is available right behind the facility.

Ine no Yakata Shiokaze, 8 minutes from Ine no Funaya, 25 minutes from Amanohashidate

It is an 8-minute drive from Ine no Funaya and a 25-minute drive from Amanohashidate, and a great location for sightseeing in Kyoto.There are also hot springs and beaches nearby. The building is old, but it was renovated 5 years ago. Western-style rooms, toilets, and baths on the first floor. Japanese-style rooms, kitchens, and dining rooms on the second floor. The stairs to the second floor are a little steep, so please be careful because it may be inconvenient for small children and the elderly. Bedrooms are Western-style (double bed, extra bed available) and Japanese-style (queen bed, futon available). There is no supermarket, convenience store, or restaurant nearby. There is a long climb 15 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop. It is a very inconvenient place without a car, so please come by your own car or rental car. You can park your car in front of the house.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
