Miners Cottage

For that romantic escape or a family holiday our three beautiful, pet friendly cottages are tucked away on 14 acres in the rolling hills and gentle slopes of the Wooragee Valley. Nestled between the historic towns of Yackandandah and Beechworth, with the rail trail at our doorstep, and an easy drive to the Victorian snowfields, Colby Cottages is ideally located to make the most of the local wineries, picturesque hikes and many outdoor pursuits - giving you privacy and comfort in a rural setting

Wee Varrich

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.

The Ruffled Rooster

A cosy unit that has everything you need but it's the seclusion shared with an olive grove ,sheep and poultry that is what makes this place unique. A true nature experience . Situated midway between Melbourne and Sydney it is ideal stop over. Ideally located to the snow, wineries, gourme region, lakes or for just chilling. A continental breakfast is included , fire pit, multiple walks and a home cooked menu. Pet friendly for well behaved pets. A $15 per pet per night. Also a spa. $35.

The living space has views across Albury, and features a 70” smart TV. BR 1 has a king bed & 2nd TV & BR 2 a Queen bed. Both have premium mattresses made up with quality linen. Located in the Milawa Gourmet Region, the cottage is ideal for visiting the King Valley wine region, Beechworth & Bright. From the comfort of the back verandah you will enjoy views of the olive grove & beyond the lawns to paddocks with sheep and lambs. Delights inside the cottage include a rainwater shower, bathtub, fireplace, an espresso machine & super comfy bed linens. Our recently renovated cottage loves the environment & uses rainwater, solar power & vintage European furniture.

It opens onto a large terrace, offering a lovely setting for alfresco dining or enjoying a wine under the Elm tree. We think it’s a perfect base for weekend getaways, executive stays or simply for holidaying in our beautiful region. It’s also a great place to rest your head when travelling up or down the Hume Highway between capital cities.

Beautiful garden of diverse trees leads to a large olive grove, and paddocks with sheep and cattle. Fresh baked bread, home made jam & marmalade,

Rusticpark Retreat self contained mudbrick cottage

When you arrive at RusticPark Retreat you will find a cosy cottage to enjoy during your stay. Set on 16 acres the views are amazing with plenty of nature and wildlife to see. The cottage is fully self contained from the main house .You will have your own private BBQ and sitting area to enjoy during your stay. We are only a short drive to Beechworth and Yackandandah . Ideally located to visit all the historic surrounding areas.

Sit on the veranda and enjoy the beautiful views of Wodonga. Fully self contained 1 bedroom unit with own kitchen and lounge room. Facing north for the beautiful morning sun. The unit has a private entry, with sensor lighting for night entry. Located close to supermarkets, shopping areas and only 15 minutes from Albury, 38klms from Beechworth and 1 hour from Mount Beauty. Very quiet area.
